If you plan to run our Digital HP or Second Strike Ignition box, our Magnetic Trigger Electronic Distributor is an ideal candidate featuring an adjustable mechanical advance and simple trigger connection. Magnetic Triggaer Billet Distributors feautre vacuum advance canisters includinng optional lock out for ease of compatibility with your desired ignition system.

  • Replacement Ignitor II module for Flame-Thrower billet or cast distributor.
  • Adaptive dwell maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance.
  • Develops on average 4 times more available energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM, and 2 times more available plug voltage.
  • Compensates for inherent electronic delay by adjusting the spark timing throughout the entire RPM range.
  • Synchronized peak current and spark timing reduces heat build-up.

    Installed a few months ago, before the winter. I was chasing a no-start after replacing the old battery. We've seen single digit temps in the meantime and it is working well. The fit is perfect in a 2010 focus. If you can slide it in from the side and not drop it in from the top, you can replace it without taking off the intake manifold.
