A renowned critic, biographer, and Shakespeare scholar, Jonathan Bate provides in this Very Short Introduction a lively and engaging overview of the literature that Jorge Luis Borges called "the richest in the world." From the medieval "Hymn of Caedmon" to George Orwell's "Why I Write," from Jane Austen to Ian McEwan, and from Winnie the Pooh to Dr. Johnson, this brilliant, compact survey stretches across the centuries, exploring the major literary forms (poetry, novel, drama, essay and more), the many histories and theories of the very idea of literature, and the role of writers in shaping English, British, and post-imperial identities. Bate illuminates the work of Chaucer, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Dickens, and many other major figures of English literature. He looks at the Renaissance, Romanticism, and Modernism, at the birth of the novel and the Elizabethan invention of the idea of a national literature, and at the nature of writing itself. Ranging from children's literature to biography, this is an indispensable guide and an inspiration for anyone interested in England's magnificent literary heritage.Binding Type: Paperback

Great non-toxic sunscreen option!!
Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Very happy with the ingredients in this sunscreen! I feel great about putting it on my skin. Just know it leaves a pretty noticeable white sheen when you wear it. I've noticed that a lot with natural sunscreens but it's worth it!

Very heave texture.
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The texture is very heavy and greasy, and it leaves a white cast that takes quite a while to disappear. It’s probably fine for the body during beach days, but not for daily use — especially not on the face.

Really like this item for kids. Easy to apply with minimal white residue left. Do have to apply more frequently.

Great product
I bought this SPF because it was on the EWG site. We used this for a southern carribbean cruise. I am very pleased! No sunburn but got a great tan. Easy to apply. Highly recommend!

Works well even in water.
Was able to apply and use for hours even in water without reapplying. Usually burn but not with this. It does go on white and very thick but runs in.
