The trio of Alan Wilkinson, John Edwards, and Steve Noble continue to plot their course ever outward and ever upward. These new songs, recorded in South London at that wonderful performance space - at the heart of the improve scene here at this moment - Iklectik, are the very beating heart of improvised music. It's not that they are good, or even representative - such relative terms fail to express the continuum of which these sounds are a key part. This is music that evades the strictures of scientific measurement or critical theory. It just is. Wilkinson is a master of the tribal, balls-out approach to sax playing. He let's it all hang out. But there is great subtlety in what he does with his horn, in the range of inflection, the space between the phrases, the singing tone. At times he sounds like a tight knit sax section in a swinging big band all on his own. There is definitely jazz in there. Edwards and Noble form the rhythmic base for much that is good and beautiful in the improv scene today. Years of playing together and individual brilliance mean they mesh like the gears of a micro-tuned machine. Together the trio make music. And that is all that needs saying. Super cute and cuper comfortable~
These slippers came very quick with the shipping, and I'm just so happy that they fit amazing. They do have a little lip where the heel is for a little added supports I believe to keep your foot from sliding out as easy. Will they slip out with enough movement? Yeah, but if you're just walking around, it's enough. Typically I tend to go with black colors, but went with the brown this time for a change up. They are so adorable~ They do have memory foam in them, and are very comfortable to wear around the apartment. They do have a hard sole, which is on the thicker side compared to how some slippers have a thin grip on the bottom to be the sole, and is good if you have to wear them outside briefly. The size fits wonderful, not to loose or tight, granted with time and use, they might get a bit loose, but right out of the packaging, and only wearing for a small time around the apartment, they are a glass slipper fit. I stayed to what I normally wear for shoe size, and the size is just right.

Great slippers made very well for a great price!

I am in love with these cat slippers. Part of me thought they wouldn't be of good quality but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised! The sole on these slippers is strong and sturdy which was one of the main reasons I purchased these. Prior to owning these I had a different pair of slippers that had a soft sole, every time it would rain my feet would get soggy with these slippers I don't have that problem. The cute cats were the other reasons for purchase, they are just so cute! The stitching on them seems to be sturdy and very well done. AND the best part, THE SIZE RANGE! I am a women with rather large feet, size 12 in women's to be exact. I can never find cute feminine slippers in my size but these not only have my size but they were actually true to size and fit!
