Double LP version. Includes CD. Leipzig-based Martin Enke, or Lake People, as the majority has come to know him, has definitely taken his time on his debut album Purposely Uncertain Field, given his early success and the quick development of his distinctive sound. Still, it wasn't until 2012's Point EP on Krakatau (KKT 006EP) that his music became enjoyable for a wider audience. Thanks to Dixon and Âme and numerous other DJs who included the tracks in their sets and mixes, the Point EP can be considered a game changer in Lake People's career. Without riding a big hype wave, Enke lived up to the increasing expectations with a bunch of EPs on which he refined his production skills. Following the popularity of his own music, Enke also became a sought-after remixer for such acts as Lusine on Ghostly International and Guy Gerber & Dixon on Gerber's label Rumors, founded in 2014. a loyal fan base of his meditative, somehow spiritual, yet powerful house sound has grown over the years and made Enke an in-demand producer and celebrated live act. After beginning his releases on Permanent Vacation with 2013's Uneasy Hiding Places EP (PERMVAC 117EP), which included the stand-out track "Brooklyn", and continuing with a contribution to 2014's If This Is House I Want My Money Back 3 (PERMVAC 120 CD/EP), Enke has found in Permanent Vacation the perfect home for his debut album. With Purposely Uncertain Field, Lake People doesn't fall into the trap of repeating himself or recreating a successful formula. Instead he puts all his musical knowledge and his experience into the album's 11 tracks and expands his already rich sound universe. Above his straighter dancefloor aspects, Enke elaborates his approaches to include a certain mid '90s electronica vibe and ambient-like soundscapes with a very cinematic feel to them. Thus he brilliantly manages the difficult task of creating a transcendent and consistent album without losing any tension over the full length.

Perfect earring tree
Color: Bronze
I was so tired of fumbling through a handful of tangled earrings in my jewelery box every morning - went looking for something to organize them and found this lovely tree. Since I am a admirer of all things bird, the design appealed to me. I was a bit worried it might be too garish, but was pleasantly surprised. The burnished copper-like finish is quite nice, and the embossed designs on the trunk and leaves give it a three-dimensional look. The nest is sturdy and holds my rings and bracelets, and I could hang necklaces from the branches (but I have another place for those.) I was worried it would be too large for my counter top - it is 17" tall x 15" wide - but it works well as a decorative piece. The sturdy base (7"x3") provides stability. Lots of holes for earrings and works just as well for dangles as for posts. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase. It came in a sturdy box and only one leaf was slightly crimped, which was easy to gently bend back into shape. And best of all - no more tangled mess of wires and hoops to sort out each morning!

Great earring tree!I
Color: Silver, Color: Silver
I like this earring tree more than I’d expected to! It holds a lot of earrings, is very sturdy and stable, and cute. It also has a little nest basket where you can put items like bracelets and rings. I love that I can see my earring options, and find the ones that best go with my outfit when getting ready for work in the morning. I’m glad it’s metal, almost a work of art, vs cheap plastic. It’s a pleasure to look at, not just functionally useful.

Exactly what I wanted!
It is really exactly what I was looking for. I've been living with my jewelry in ziplock bags since we moved over here and everything fits perfect. I saw some reviews that claimed it was unstable but I tested it and it seems sturdy though I'm not hanging heavy pieces. It is a nice size and I love the little ring basket. It also feels pretty decent quality too. Glad I got the black one as I'm not sure where I have it that the copper/bronze would look right. I think it is elegant, practical and I wish I could post a photo with my pieces on it to show that it really holds things beautifully.

Looks great by my bed!
Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art!
I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye.
The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease.
However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

Beautiful jewelry display
Color: Bronze-Tone
A few rough edges, but all in all well made and attractive. Holds lots of earrings and I can drape my necklaces on the tree. There's a nice bowl for bracelets and a nice tray that forms the base.
