Landscape Dream is Abram Shook's follow up to 2014's Sun Marquee, an album VICE called "pleasant as fuck." and Texas Monthly called "compelling, weird, and lovely." Applying what he learned through writing and recording Sun Marquee, Landscape Dream is a natural progression, demonstrating how much Shook's songwriting and production acumen has sharpened over the past year. Sun Marquee was a learning process where songs were often forced out of experiments in recording techniques. As Abram explains, "I had a lot of thoughts I just threw out there, but often I arrived at dead-ends and had to figure out how to make something out of what was available." However, on Landscape Dream he "went back to writing with just voice and guitar and then used arranging, production, and recording ideas pulled from Sun Marquee." The effectiveness of his new approach is clear from the 70's rock of "Find It" and "Chelsea" to the African vibes of "Get Gone", the dreamy Brazilian vibes on "5am" and "Beach Glass", and the slow-jam soul found on "Perfect", "Jaw", and "Vessel".

A bit disappointed

Needed a new cover for my Ipad 11. This product had a good price, options for colors (I picked the green) and shipping was fast. When it arrived out of the box I was disappointed. Putting my Ipad 11 into the case was a bit harder than I expected. Once in, either the top or the bottom would not sat seated in the case. The backlight is nice, but you have to charge the keypad and ipad separately. I returned this because you have to physically move the keyboard to either use it or close the case or get the Ipad to stand. So, when closed the keypad sits right under the Ipad screen. When you open the case and want the ipad to stand, you have to physically slide the keyboard towards you or down to the bottom of the case. This then allows you to fold the upper portion and stand the ipad upright. You have to reverse this to actually close the case. What all this means is two things for me...this setup takes more deskstop space and a few more movements to get everything setup.

Keyboard will rub its color off, onto the screen of ipad

Over all I love the color and idea of this case. Keyboard works great but the keyboard I have to cover it if I want to carry it in the case with my iPad it’s edges fit inside the case and will scratch and leave the color on my iPad screen I have been covering it with a paper towel when I want to keep in inside to take it with my iPad. I do love that the keyboard magnetic feature and can be moved.
Two stars only for the inconvenience of having to find something to cover the keyboard

Fantastic keyboard!

Pleasantly surprised!! And less than half the price of an ipad folio keyboard - I know, one feels like one has to stay in brand. So I was nervous about buying a keyboard that wasn't made by Apple. But to be honest, the Apple keyboards and mice have betrayed me on numerous occasions. They have not earned my loyalty and need to reassess their dubious life choices.
I needed a protective cover to stop my cats doom scrolling while I am asleep. I am OK with them using the internet - even though I have had random people text me back a picture of a large feline left nostril and just the letters WFT? It is what it is. I think they are little geniuses. But they scratch the ipad surface which is annoying. So I thought, what the heck - I am about to do my RN-BSN online and need a way to make my ipad transportable while protected, and set up so I can easily bang out some homework assignments on the run.
Easy set up! What a relief! Tech usually hates me - sees me coming from a mile off and starts planning to at best ruin my day, and at worst have me calling my therapist. At first I started reading the instructions and my teeth hurt from the bad translation into English. But even with that negative energy I was able to set it up very quickly. Everything just WORKED!! I know. I set a low bar. These days one has to. This time I didn't need to.
The cover is sturdy, soft and coffee resistant, thank goodness. The keyboard just plops on, connects through magic and immediately makes me feel like I am not as stupid as I thought! Absolutely recommend this wonderful keyboard - I dunno who do this voodoo but I am very excited. Crack on my lovelies! Make those dreams a reality.

Great product!

I really love this. The baby pink is so cute! I had my hesitations because I couldn’t see if the pink would be as good in real life. It’s like a soft blush color. Honestly, I was going to drop $350 on the Magic Keyboard for my iPad Air. Which is ridiculously expensive. This is a way better alternative. It fits my iPad pen. The iPad itself fits perfectly. I thought the keyboard was going to be tacky and cheap. But it’s pretty legit too. I love that when I’m done using the iPad, the whole case protects everything, even the keyboard inside and especially the camera lense. The magic key board does not have that feature. Like that it’s magnetic too. The material is so soft to touch. I can see how it can get dirty with ink spot if not careful. Overall, really happy with this purchase!
