This deeply carved pendant contains intricate, symbolic imagery on both sides. The first side features a full sun above an active ocean, with low hanging stars, bird shapes, and unique group of arcs symbolizing "Spirit Rising." These shapes are interpreted as the ability to view oneself with perspective and insight.

The large wave is the pathway of Water breaking along the shore. The active movement exposes pebbles in its wake, representing the work we do to uncover our deepest motivations and reveal the hidden gems of our personalities.

These symbolic ideas are connected with compass points, pointing towards the direction that is most needed for our continuing growth and wellbeing.

On the second side of the pendant, a tall mountain peak is depicted against a field of sixteen stars, symbolizing self-determination, intuition, and inner wisdom. The “Spirit Rising” symbol accompanies the celestial space, overlooking the scene below.

The deeply folded sides of the mountain lead to fields tilled for crops. This land is supported by the compass, whose position creates perspective on the grandeur and mystery surrounding life's journey.

The overall shape of the pendant, resembling a pointed arch, symbolizes the connection between earth and heaven and the ability to rise to one's highest good. The arch is also an important device in architecture, carrying stress from above gracefully down to the base.

The imagery carved within the boundaries of the arch transcends the sides of the arch, symbolizing the need for boundaries while also being able to move outside their constraints. The whole shape terminates in a pointed base, echoing the top form, while also suggesting an ability to balance on a delicate point of contact.

Pendant is 1+7/8" tall x 1" wide x 1/8" thick, including the bail where the chain goes through. It is shown on the 1.8 mm Rounded Box chain.
