Description

Babydoll SheepBabydoll sheep or Southdowns are one of the oldest English breeds of sheep. They come from the South Down Hills of Sussex County England. They are small sheep that are extremely hardy and have extremely tender meat. John Ellman set out to standardize the breed in 1780. Babydoll sheep or Southdown’s are one of the oldest English breeds of sheep. They come from the South Down Hills of Sussex County England. They are small sheep that are extremely hardy and have extremely tender meat. John Ellman set out to standardize the breed in 1780. They grew in numbers until 1908 when there was over 100,000 sheep in England, the growth stopped as the World Wars resulted in huge losses of breeding numbers. By the end of World War II the breed was almost extinct as larger cuts of meat were preferred. They reached the US around 1803, and went through the same growth and decline as their counterparts in England. As a result of the demand for large cuts of meat the larger Southdown was developed. This development resulted in the two distinct breeds of today, the Southdown and the miniature (original) Southdown. In 1986 Robert Mock began to search for sheep that conformed to the original standard. After an extensive search a total of 350 sheep were found. To distinguish them from their larger counterparts Mock called them Olde English Babydoll Southdown’s. A registry was started where adults over 2 years of age had to be judged by a board of the breed association in order to be accepted, and by 1991 the “Foundation Flock” was developed. Now lambs are registered. Babydoll’s have excellent wool which is in the class of cashmere. They make excellent “weeders” and companion animals as well as being a sound investment opportunity. Babydoll sheep work great in wine vineyards and orchards as they are unable to reach the fruits and they fertilize the soil while they graze. They are calm and docile and make great pets. They have a teddy bear face and they have the appearance that they are always smiling. They can be raised like any other breed of sheep; however they do tend to be resistant to foot rot.

Duckopolis has black, spotted, and white colours of babydolls. Lambs we sell will be a minimum of 8 weeks before they are ready for pickup, lambing starts around April each year.

*Final pricing for spotted ewe lambs will range from $700-1,200, and spotted ram lambs from $500-1,000 depending on the amount of spotting the lambs have.

document feeder not working on first real use.
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
Serious reliability issues and concerns. We have owned the printer for about 1 month and printed a limited amount. For the first time today I tried scanning with the document feeder. I was scanning about 12 pages that should of been 1 document. The first page scanned and then stopped. I started the scanner again and it scanned about 5 pages and then jammed. The rest of the pages were a constant jamming/not feeding fiasco. I would run to the computer and hit scan, then run to the printer and manually push on the paper as hard as i could without the paper bending. if I pushed just right i could get a few pages through without jamming. I ended up with about 6 pdf's instead of one document and constant jamming in the paper feeder. Frustrating from a brand new printer and the first time using the paper scanner. There is a clicking noise when it scans. a few of the pages fed properly but the rest had to be forced. No obvious obstructions or other issues. I tried cleaning the rollers with no success. Then attempted to reach out to Epson support. The only support option I could find was an email form that put me in a captia loop after entering all the information so I had to start over on the ticket submission. No chat support, no phone number, brand new higher priced printer with serious build/reliability issues. Frustrating.

This is a great printer. I love it.
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
I’ve been using the Epson ET‑15000 for custom chip bags and ran into a huge issue with my original paper choice. The printer itself is great, but the Koala 30 lb glossy paper did not play well with the black ink at all. Even after letting my prints sit for a full two days, the black areas would still smear and come off on my fingers as soon as I started folding and assembling the bags. It was super frustrating and made it hard to trust my prints for orders. I decided to try Eshang high gloss paper instead, and the difference has been night and day. With the same Epson ET‑15000 and the same designs, the Eshang paper works like a charm. The black ink dries quickly, doesn’t rub off when handled, and holds up beautifully while I’m folding and sealing my chip bags. Colors look vibrant, the finish is nice and glossy, and I don’t have to worry about smudging anymore. If you’re using an Epson EcoTank like the ET‑15000 and struggling with black ink smearing on Koala glossy, I highly recommend switching to Eshang high gloss. It completely solved the problem for me and made my chip bag printing so much easier and more professional.

Need scan button to work!
Pattern Name: Printer, Style: ET-15000
Love (almost) everything about this except the scan button. The scan button on the Epson screen does not work. I called Microsoft who tried to fix it through the connection but still didn't work. Sent an e-mail to Epson and no response. Really need this scan button to work so that I can scan to desktop.
