In 1855, the Cherry Run Valley was a quiet farming community in Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania. The small town of Plummerville was the largest settlement in all of Cherry Run. Oil City, then know as Cornplanter, was little more then Hasson s Cornfield and Gristmill. Pithole was the home to several pioneers who had each acquired plots of four hundred acres from the Holland Land Company. However, on August 27 28, 1859, Col. Edwin L. Drake and Uncle Billy successfully struck oil near Titusvilleacross Oil Creek in north Venango County. As the news spread to the world, an onslaught of curious reporters, speculators, and adventurers filled the valley. Farms were bought and leased to investors and then often subleased before a well was even bored. Life was about to change dramatically for the people of the Cherry Run Valley. Images from private, local collections make Cherry Run Valley: Plumer, Pithole, and Oil City a true local treasure. From the earliest days to the first sighting of the new commodity to the migration down the length of Oil Creek, the Cherry Run Valley weathered it all. Plumer remains a beautiful village at the entrance to Oil Creek State Park, and Pithole went from buckwheat farm to boomtown to ghost town and now a popular state museum and park. Been a K&N customer for over 20 years.
I use K&N on all vehicles that I have owned. It has always given extra MPGs and extra HPs. Always easy to install, easy to clean and maintain. if you keep your vehicle as long as I do (my last two vehicles, a 2001 Toyota Sienna lasted 18 years, and 2000 honda civic LX lasted 17 years), this filter pays for itself and more! definitely worth the price. I bought one now for my new Honda Civic EX hatchback which I will also drive until it breaks which could be 2 decades from now - imagine how much I will save on regular air filter purchases and extra mpgs. very well worth the price!

Best Air Filter EVER
I have used these in my cars for years. They improve turbo lag significantly, increase air flow, and just work. What I like best about these, beside the protection they offer the air intake system, is that they truly are a life long product. My last car had one in it for 13 years. With a cleaning every 25K miles as outlines by KN the air filter just continued to work and work.
I recently purchased one for my new Honda CR-V and had it installed at the dealership at 500 miles when I was getting an oil change to flush out the build lube. The mechanic who did the work left me a note that said "great filter, I love these"

Worth it! Love these filters.
I love K & N air filters and always install them in my cars. This eliminated my cars Turbo lag in my 2019 Honda Civic Ex which has a 1.5L Turbo. Acceleration has improved and makes the car louder (I also have dual exhaust) I love how you don't have to change or clean it for 50,000 miles!! I know it's expensive but will last forever! Only issue was it was very difficult to install and a pain but this is more Hondas fault as I could not fully remove the plastic case where this filter goes under the hood even with tools.
