ART FINE was the Turin, Italy, duo of FABRICE BELLINI (electronics, vocals) and RUSH BLAKEMANN (guitar, synthesizer). They met in art school and became friends, inspired by new wave, dance and electronic music. Their only single "Dark Silence" was recorded in November of 1984, and released by Discomagic in 1985. Bellini programmed the electronic drums using SCI Drumtraks and added extra tracks on the Simmons SDSV; Blakemann played electric guitar and the Yamaha piano notes at the start of the song. Guest musicians included SILVANO BORGATTA and RICCARDO ROSA, and the "da da da da da" voice effect was done by engineer GIGI GUERRIERI, who cut and spliced a tape rather than using a sampler, which was too expensive at the time. "Dark Silence" tells the love story of beautiful girl who Bellini saw many times but could not reach. He called her Dark Silence, for her dark hair and eyes as well as the unwanted silence between them. The B-side features a remixed version with extended breaks and dubbed-out bass lines and vocals. Both songs were remastered for vinyl by GEORGE HORN at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl is housed in the original jacket design featuring a photo of the duo and the Art Fine logo in puzzle pieces. Each copy includes a double-sided postcard insert with lyrics and liner notes by Bellini.

Nice and affordable, but poor arch support and mushy insoles.
Size: 11 Wide, Color: Black
These shoes look nice and feel comfortable at first, but the soft memory foam type bottoms on these don't provide enough support. I am a big guy and find that over the course of the day the insoles compress and my feet end up at an angle. After a long day on my feet, my dogs are barking and my leg muscles are tight I think from walking on an angle. I added my GoodFeet arch support and they help a little with arch support, but the insole is so soft that it absorbs the bulge quite a bit. If you're skinny and need a decent looking pair of shoes on the cheap, they might be ok for you. I would not recommend long walks or strenuous activity in them. I will say they are lightweight, breathable and a decent value if you don't have flat feet and a beer belly (I don't even drink beer, how'd that happen, WTH?!)

Love the shoes.
I love these shows. Super cushioned and comfortable. Makes casual but professional dress so easy. Buying different color because I like them so much. They are true to size. Maybe a tad short in toe box.

Stylish, Comfortable, and Great for Everyday Wear
Size: 11, Color: Grey
The Marc Joseph New York Men’s Edison Street shoes are a standout — stylish enough for work or a night out, but comfortable enough for daily wear. The hands-free technology makes them easy to slip on and off without sacrificing fit or support. They have a polished, classic look that pairs well with both casual and dressier outfits, and the comfort level stayed high even after a full day on my feet. Good quality, flattering design, and a versatile choice if you want shoes that look sharp and feel great. Would recommend and buy again.

Just Slip On & Go
Size: 13, Color: Black/Black
These are honestly one of the easiest shoes I’ve owned. You just step in and go, no laces to deal with, but they still have that lace look which I like. I’ve had them for close to a year and they’ve held up well. Comfortable enough for everyday use. I liked them enough and got a few different versions of the same shoe. The elastic fit is what makes them stand out. If you want something simple, comfortable, and still a little dressy, these are solid.
