This 2013 release, the second installment in The The's Cineola series, is the original soundtrack to the award-winning documentary film Moonbug. The film follows renowned portrait photographer Steve Pyke MBE (New Yorker, Life Magazine) on his extraordinary journey across America to meet, interview and photograph his childhood heroes - the men who went to the moon. The CD, which features 17 original new tracks, is released through The The's Lazarus label and as part of their ongoing Cineola series of soundtrack and spoken word recordings. It comes packaged within a beautiful 80 page hardback book which features stunning portraits of the Apollo astronauts by Steve Pyke, plus an extensive interview with Pyke by The The's singer/songwriter Matt Johnson, notes from the film's award-winning director Nichola Bruce (I Could Read the Sky, the Human Face) and still photographs from the film itself.

Loud! Just Like She Likes It

My Great Dane loves this noisy toy. She prefers squeaky toys with loud, unusual squeakers. (I need to invest in earplugs.) She's not an agressuve chewer or rough player so this should last a long time. Like most squeaky toys she has, the squeaker wears out before the physical toy does and once the noise is gone she won't play with it any more. If others have a similar issue...check with your local animal shelter. Some (not all) will disinfect used toys for the dogs in their care.

Fun while it lasts…
Color: Pink, Style: Grunt Sound
Fun while it lasts. Doesn’t last very long. This is our third one and last maybe a few weeks. The part that makes noise comes detached inside which causes to toy to no longer make noise, but also can be dangerous if it comes out.

Great alternative to the grunting pigs!

We go through A LOT of dog toys at my dog based business. The grunting pigs are super cute, but they are also super fragile. It is incredibly easy to dislodge the squeaker. (Grunter?) These are certainly not robust chew toys, but the squeaker is about 30% better at staying put than that of the pigs. It's also smaller, so it's easier for the smaller dogs to play with. These are a new favorite!
Update: August, 2024 I bought an orange hedgehog. Amazon won't let me review that separately so I had to add to my sheep review. The orange hedgehog is only 3 stars. It is made of a harder plastic than the bear and the sheep. It also has a standard squeaker, not the grunting of the bear and sheep. But harder plastic DOES NOT mean that it will withstand an aggressive chewer! If your dog likes to "kill the squeaker" they will be able to do so in minutes! This IS NOT a chew toy! If you are looking for a toy for an aggressive chewer, look at the Orbeez line from Outward Hound. The other thing that makes me less enthusiastic about the orange hedgehog is that the yellow paint started flaking off immediately. I will have to scrub it all off because it looks terrible! The dogs don't care, but their owners sure do! I haven't had that problem with the sheep or the bears. The orange hedgehog is almost like it's from a completely different company!

Really cute toy broke in a day and It stopped honking but my dog still plays with it. Durable material. Good toy overall. Please fix the honk and we can buy more like it.
