Specific Features of Individual Models:

  • Classic 150 with base for stable positioning
  • Classic 250 includes a filter basket, with one coarse filter pad, one fine filter pad, and one activated carbon pad
  • Classic 1500XL features a practical drain tap; the pump unit can operate separately from the canister

The filter can use both coarse and fine filter pads. However, we recommend using an EHEIM filter media layering setup. Filter media sets are available for each model (except for the Classic 150). A variety of accessories allows you to enhance the features to suit your needs.
