From the distant provincial city Menaka, she has become a successful artist here in the capitol of Mali. 2017 is Leila Gobi's second album on Clermont Music. It was recorded in Hampathe Bah Studio, on the second floor of a group of buildings off the main road in a suburb of western Bamako. The sessions were intimate. The tracks were laid without effects, clean. Leila wanted to produce an album that brought a new dimension to her music. The problem was how to create this new sound with only the basic tools available in Mali. It is almost impossible for musicians there to find the equipment available to the average westerner. The talent is there, just not the hardware. And electric power failures and poor communications infrastructure interrupt regularly. The final sounds were found in the studio while mixing in the synthesizers and electronic effects. Tracks were mixed and mastered in Bamako, New York, and Los Angeles. Remaining faithful to the underlying roots of the music, 2017 bridges genres. The album forges the origins of trance, beats, and loops with new technology, a fusion of many influences. And across it all, Leila Gobi's unmistakable voice shines through. Personnel: Leila Walet Gobi - vocals; Khalil M. Great Sunscreen

I love this sunscreen and have been using it for years! The scent is pleasant, and it goes on smoothly and provides great coverage. Not for Oily / Combo skin types

The product smells nice, doesn't leave a greasy feeling on my skin. It's easy to spread and seeps right into my skin. I've had bad luck with sunscreens and so far this one has been nice on my sensitive skin.
The quality of the bottles is odd, or at least that was my first impression. It feels cheap. Maybe that's just how this product is.

****EDIT: I made this review back when my "skin care routine" consisted on NOTHING but salicylic acid cleanser and this sunscreen every other day, whenever I remembered to apply it. My skin was DRY and this sunscreen felt like heaven when applied on my screen.
I recently started actually looking after my skin and added a moisturizer and retinol to my routine. My skin is now hydrated and soft. Now, I'm having to switch to a different sunscreen because this one can no longer be fully absorbed by face. It leaves a nice glow but also an unfortunate greasy feeling on my skin. I also forgot to point our last time that it does leave a white cast, but it goes away after a few extra seconds of rubbing it in.
I still think this is a good product! Just make sure you have the right skin type (dry) for it.
