Bang! Records announces Thinking Of Another Place, Lou Reed´s first triple-live vinyl LP from 1976's Rock´n´Roll Heart USA tour. A superb performance recorded for radio broadcast, restored and remastered, Reed plays seven tracks from that album alongside songs from Transformer (1972), Berlin (1973), Sally Can´t Dance (1974, and Coney Island Baby (1975), as well as some excellent Velvet Underground thrown in for good measure. Absolutely killer live performance with high sound quality, released in a trifold jacket with extensive liner notes by Jaime Gonzalo and Nina Antonia, including previously unseen photography courtesy of Bob Bery and rare live posters and magazine covers from those days courtesy of Gonzalo. Recorded at Civic Theatre, Akron, Ohio (USA), October 23rd, 1976. Edition of 500, released under license from Easy Action Records. Personnel: Lou Reed - vocals and guitar; Michael Fonfara - keyboards; Bruce Yaw - bass; Marty Fogel - sax; Michael Suchorsky - drums.

Decent, but be careful of frequent use.

The looks are very nice, functional if left alone once assembled. After that I would leave them alone otherwise you risk the main male portion just coming loose of the housing, sound quality is decent, nothing to write home about, but again, not very durable. If they could fix that 1 thing, these would be very good buy and value, the rest of each plug is hefty and well made.

Perfect for guitar wire harnesses.

This is the first time I’ve used this type of wire for building and repairing electric guitars. These 22 AWG stranded silicone insulated wires are perfect for connecting control pots and switches. They are soft, flexible, and the insulation does not burn or melt back when soldering. The wire itself is tinned pure copper and solders with ease. I use a silver bearing solder which requires more heat than standard lead/tin solder. The silicon insulation handles the heat just fine without burning or distorting it. The wire is strong and durable, yet it strips back easily with a standard stripping tool. They are true to the advertised thickness of 22 gauge.
I have used both traditional cloth insulated (pull back), and PVC insulated guitar hookup wire in the past. I will be using this silicon wire from now on. It is easy to work with and produces a very clean professional looking result.
