The upper has been built from premium full-grain black leather. These 10-inch duty boots have a side zipper that aids in getting them on/off rapidly. In addition to these features, there is a polishable toe so that you can keep these boots looking like they are in tiptop shape.A great deal of the paratrooper boot's strength "š can be "š attributed to its Goodyear welt construction. Eventually, all duty boots begin to wear down; with this construction, these boots can be repaired with no trouble and they revert back to their original hardiness.The contoured EVA footbed provides cushioning that will pacify your achy feet, and will make standing a much more comfortable experience. You will have more stability as a result of the stabilizer, because it is non-metallic you will not have to remove your footwear or be delayed around scanners or sensitive equipment. The black rubber lug outsole provides dependable traction; this is especially beneficial when you are walking on uneven terrain.

Heading to the Camino myself....I've been reading other accounts of it, more so since my plans have had to be put on hold due to COVID19. I purchased a pile of recommendations from others on a social media site, sat up one night, researching the favorites of others. My list only had those that had humor! Brad's book has humor and I love that he, being a songwriter, utilized his talent for putting sentences together, creating a canvas of texture with descriptions, which kept me turning pages. I loved reading about his self discovery, his growth through his business, family life, athletic life, social life, and finding a balance eventually, although the reader can certainly see he teetered A LOT! The downside was that he felt it important to share the sexual experiences, of others and himself. TMI, as a generation behind me would say. It wasn't needed. His adventure was fabulous without it. If Brad ever did a rewrite, I would suggest he leave that out so more age groups could be inspired by his journey! It won't be the first book I'd recommend if anyone asked me what to read about Camino adventures, but I won't say not to read it if it comes up in conversation.

Definitely not my favorite

It was ok as far as Camino memoirs go. Not my favorite and probably won't reread/listen again, like I have several others. The author seemed to like to make fun of people and objectify women. I kept hoping there'd be some kind of epiphany, but the closest we get is when he is relaying a life changing conversation he'd had with someone the previous evening where he learned he needs to see the good in people, but minutes before he'd spent a lengthy time ranting and complaining and disparaging "plastic pilgrims." I listened to the whole thing because I was hoping for some redemption, but didn't witness any.
