Vinyl LP pressing. 2009 release, the highly anticipated follow up to the Grammy Award winning album Washington Square Serenade. The 15-song set is comprised of songs written by Earle's friend and mentor, the late singer/songwriter, Townes Van Zandt. The songs selected for Townes were the ones that meant the most to Earle and the ones he personally connected to. Some of the selections chosen were songs that Earle has played his entire career ('Pancho and Lefty', 'Lungs', 'White Freightliner Blues'). He learned the song '(Quicksilver Daydreams of) Maria' directly from Van Zandt. Earle recorded the New York sessions solo and then added the instruments later on in order to preserve the spirit of Van Zandt's original solo performances to the best of his recollection. The track 'Lungs' was produced and mixed by the Dust Brothers' John King and features Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine/The Night Watchmen on electric guitar.

Good for young kids and to read at night
Format: Kindle
My kids have really enjoyed this series so far. Just finished the buddy files another short chapter book with pictures written for younger children and needed another short graphic chapter book. My kids lost interest after the second one though and have moved on to funnier books.

Fun and imaginative read-together stories
Format: Hardcover
Doodle Champion Island Games is a 2021 interactive role-playing browser game that features a character called Lucky the Ninja Cat who competes in various sports-based mini games, loosely based on the 2020 Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics. Kitten Ninja is a marvelously illustrated book that features Ninja Cat as a kitten when he battles a sun spot, a ball of yarn, and snow. At the end of each battle, he is happily in the lap of his owner as they relax in her overstuffed chair. The quality and durability of the book is excellent, with bright colorful images and well-written text. This is a delightful book for a parent or caregiver to enjoy with a pre-school child or one that is learning to read, or a special gift for a young child who is learning to read or reads at grades 1 through 3 level.

Great bedtime book.

This review is for: Kitten Ninja
This is a cute little hard cover book. It's not a large book, so perfect for a quick night time read before bed.
It contains three cute stories. Perfect for anyone that owns cats and knows their antics. Battling yarn, snow, etcetera, Kitten Ninja always comes out on top.
I think this is appropriate for any little one, probably up to age eight or so.
Now that I know that this is a prequel, we will have to check out the other books in this Epic series.
