A contemplation on loss and forgiveness, the album volleys between the perspectives of D'Agustino and co-songwriter/lead guitarist Andrew Wolfson. The 11 tracks deal with universal themes including the tension of family, loss, and learning to move on without resentment (Amends, Lighthouse), breakups (Unwind With Me), anxieties (Downstairs), and hope for the future (Silver Screen). As a whole, Amends represents Active Bird Community's efforts to contend honestly with the pain of their experiences and explore the empowering nature of forgiveness. Active Bird Community's 2017 album, Stick Around, was self-released last year and hailed as a scrappy punk slugfest rife with immediate post-college struggles" (Billboard), and superb... full of addicting cuts" (Earmilk). The band - who have been playing together since middle school - recently played a sold-out show at Brooklyn's Knitting Factory as part of Northside Festival, have toured with artists including Cymbals Eat Guitars and We Were Promised Jetpacks, and performed at festivals including Panorama and Audiotree. Active Bird Community are: Tom Agustino (vocals, guitar), Andrew Wolfson (vocals/lead guitar), Quinn McGovern (drums), and Zach Slater (bass).

This rug is a fabulous quality for the price!! Thick, soft, great looking. They ship it with a brush and a storage bag... highly impressed. This is my 3rd fur shag from this company. I have 2 cream ones in my master. Im going to order a black one too, just to change it up.
Zero smell, functional, nice size, durable... im in love!! It would look very cool on a chair, the back of a couch next to the FP, or even on a bed.... authentically pleasing for sure.

I ordered three of these, and they arrived promptly and very well packaged in a vacuum seal pack. Once you pull them out, shake them and fluff them a little bit they lose their wrinkles pretty quickly. They seem to be very good quality and are authentically sheepskin. The “white” has a tiny little bit of a yellow undertone, which is what I expected since it’s basically a dyed sheep skin. I would call the white color “natural” rather than white white. They are very thick and were a good price. I ordered two of the three foot-long hides and one 6ft foot hide. One of the hides had a slight odor to it that reminded me a little bit of eggs. It’s been laying on my bench all night and 24 hours later there is no smell. The other two hides had zero smell at all. I think it’s just a little leftover chemical smell from the treatment of the hide when they get it ready. It wasn’t overwhelming or overpowering. If you’re looking for the ultimate SUPER plush sheepskin, I recommend the Overland Sheepskin Company. However, for what I need these for which is just something to throw over my dining room table bench for a little cushion and aesthetics. It’s absolutely perfect and the right price point.
