With its ultra-compact yet extremely capable frame, the GSD R14 combines Bosch’s latest Smart System technology with premium Rohloff components, delivering unmatched performance, reliability, and versatility.
At its core is the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with up to 85 Nm of torque, paired with a high-capacity 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube battery. This system provides smooth, powerful pedal assist whether you’re climbing steep city hills, hauling kids and groceries, or venturing out on long weekend rides. The Smart System seamlessly connects through the Bosch Flow app, enabling over-the-air updates, ride customization, and enhanced security features.
The Rohloff E-14 electronically shifted 14-speed internal gear hub offers an ultra-wide 526 % gear range with near-instant, automatic multi-shift capability — ideal for loaded starts or long climbs. The Gates Carbon Drive belt replaces a traditional chain, giving you a silent, low-maintenance drivetrain that’s perfect for year-round Canadian conditions.

The Tern GSD R14 is designed to safely carry up to 200 kg gross vehicle weight, including rider, passengers, and cargo. It features a stiff, low-step aluminum frame with a compact 20-inch wheel platform for maximum stability under load. Tern’s Atlas Lockstand provides rock-solid parking when loading, while the Atlas rear rack supports a wide range of accessories, from child seats and panniers to business cargo modules.
Integrated lighting, premium hydraulic disc brakes, wide Schwalbe tires, and a suspension seatpost ensure confidence and comfort on everything from urban pavement to uneven bike paths. The adjustable cockpit fits riders from 150 cm to 195 cm, making it a true one-bike solution for households or fleets.
