Here is a young violinist at the peak of his form enjoying himself from first to last in music undemanding on the ear if not the technique, outrageously showing off in a way that for most will be very endearing. Not that the playing is extrovert all the time... 'Meditationi' from Massenet's Thais conveys a rare depth of feeling, making it more than just a lyrical interlude. With full, open recording, this winning young violinist's many devotees will no doubt have the same response as the enthusiastic Vienna audience. ' - Gramophone'The latest disc from Maxim Vengerov offers some refreshingly 'lite' listening. Each selection was arranged for Virtuosi (an ensemble consisting of 11 violins) by it's leader, Mikhail Parhamovsky. Pianist Vag Papian joins in all the works, creating an interesting hybrid of violin/piano duo and chamber orchestra, an arrangement that works particularly well in Manuel Ponce's hot-blooded Estrellita, Schubert's tranquil Ave Maria, and Khachaturian's rollicking Sabre Dance. Just as effective are Antonio Bazzini's Le Ronde des Lutins, which comes off sounding like one of Schnittke's nervy Concerti Grossi, and a beautifully homespun rendering of Dvorak's Humoresque No. 7. Of special interest is Tchaikovsky's rarely-heard three-movement Souvenir d'un lieu cher. One of the composer's more restrained works, it nonetheless features some beautiful tunes, especially the melancholy Meditation.

Chuckit medium rebound balls
Size: Medium
My 8 month old German shepherd dog loves these balls. They are easy to throw, they bounce great, they are very chewable! She keeps one in her mouth most of the time. It satisfies her need to chew and she does not chew other things. She drops it in the water and lets the hole fill up and drinks that way. The only problem that has caused is suction in her mouth and difficulty in dislodging it for her. However, she would be lost without it!

These are definitely indestructible

Both of my dogs can destroy a ball in a matter of minutes if I let them play with them (supervised) as is. Well not with these balls. They are the ONLY ones I have found that are 100% indestructible. Please only let your dogs play with these as a toy when supervised though. They go really far when throwing them, so both dogs get a good amount of running and exercise with these. I also bought these because they have the hole in the middle of the ball which is very important in the event that a dog gets one stuck at the back of their throat. This allows them to breath unlike those without this hold. It's an unlikely event, but as dog owners, we all need to be aware of this and educate ourselves on what to do if this SHOULD happen. This isn't a scare tactic, nor a reflection of this particular brand, it can happen with any type of ball. My two dogs are about 45ish lbs and the size is perfect for them, I don't want anything smaller than this. They love them. There is no annoying squeak. Really easy to wash after use. Some balls take forever to get the slimy saliva off, but these don't.

Perfect for Blind Dogs, Fun and Durable
Size: 2-pack, Style: Duo
My blind dog loves these Chuckit! sniff balls. She can easily sniff them out and plays fetch with them for 20 minutes a day, even running up and down the stairs.
The balls are durable, bounce well, and the bacon and peanut butter scent keeps her engaged. I do wish Chuckit! would bring back the version with a tone so we could play fetch outside more easily.
Overall, a fantastic toy for dogs that rely on scent and a fun way to keep them active.
