The low-binding PTFE membrane is the best option for leachable free filtration whenever highest chemical compatibility and pH values of 1 - 14 are needed. For hydrophilic solutions pre-rinsing with a solvent is necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable for aqueous liquids. Due to the hydrophobic nature Minisart SRP can also be used for venting. The housing of the filter is made of PP (polypropylene) which is compatibility with harsh solvents, acids and bases.
