Dakota Lithium DL 12V 100Ah Heated LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Battery, Group 24, with Internal BMS

When your battery is doing real work, you need more than a spec sheet and a decent warranty. You need dependable runtime, stable voltage, cold-weather charging support, and the kind of protection that helps your system keep working when conditions are less than ideal. That is exactly what the Dakota Lithium DL 12V 100Ah is built to deliver.

Designed for deep cycle applications like trolling motors, RV systems, marine setups, solar storage, and off-grid power, this Lithium Iron Phosphate battery combines long service life, lighter weight, and steady performance in a compact Group 24 footprint. With 100Ah of capacity at 12.8V, it delivers 1280 watt-hours of energy, giving you the kind of usable power that makes a real difference in systems that get used regularly, not just occasionally.

This is the kind of battery people choose when they are tired of short battery life, voltage drop, heavy lead-acid batteries, and setups that struggle the moment temperatures fall. Whether you are upgrading an RV battery bank, running electronics on the water, or building a more dependable solar storage setup, the DL 12V 100Ah gives you the runtime, reliability, and lower-maintenance ownership that make lithium worth the investment.

Built for deep cycle power, not compromise

A lot of batteries can technically power your system. The question is how well they do it over time.

The Dakota Lithium DL 12V 100Ah is built specifically for deep cycle use, meaning it is designed to deliver sustained energy over longer periods rather than short bursts for engine starting. That makes it a strong fit for applications where dependable runtime matters more than a starting jolt, including trolling motors, RV house systems, marine electronics, solar storage, and off-grid equipment.

For customers, that means a battery built for the job it is actually meant to do. It is not trying to be a starting battery. It is designed to deliver consistent deep cycle power day after day.

100Ah of usable lithium power with stable voltage output

Capacity matters, but voltage stability matters too.

With 100Ah of storage capacity and 1280Wh of energy, this battery gives you solid runtime for demanding 12V applications. Just as important, LiFePO4 chemistry helps provide stable voltage output throughout the discharge cycle. That means your gear gets more consistent power instead of the sluggish drop-off many users are used to with older sealed lead-acid batteries.

For RV owners, that can mean more dependable power for lights, fans, fridges, and electronics. For marine users, it means better support for trolling motors and onboard systems. For solar and off-grid users, it means cleaner, more predictable stored energy when it is time to draw from the battery bank.

Internal heating for cold-weather charging

Cold weather is where a lot of batteries start showing their weaknesses. This one is built to handle it better.

The DL 12V 100Ah includes Dakota Lithium’s internal Even-Heat Technology, which warms the battery cells to 5°C (41°F) when charging begins below 0°C (32°F). That added heating support helps protect the battery and maintain charging capability in colder conditions where standard lithium batteries may be limited.

For customers using batteries in garages, cabins, boats, RVs, or outdoor equipment, this is a feature that matters. It helps make the battery more practical year-round and reduces the hassle of working around cold-weather charging limitations.

Smart protection built in with active BMS

A good lithium battery is not just about capacity. It is also about what is happening behind the scenes to protect that capacity over time.

This battery includes an active Battery Management System that helps manage cell balancing and protect against low voltage, high voltage, short circuits, and high temperatures. Those protections are a big part of what helps support safe, stable long-term battery operation.

That is especially important in systems supporting valuable equipment or regular daily use. When your battery is expected to carry the load consistently, protection is not optional.

Lightweight and easier to handle than lead-acid

One of the fastest ways lithium changes the ownership experience is simply by cutting down the weight and hassle of the battery itself.

At just 27.55 pounds, this battery is much lighter than comparable sealed lead-acid options, making installation, replacement, and handling more manageable. That is a big advantage in RVs, boats, off-grid setups, and other applications where space is tight and every pound matters.

It also comes in a Group 24 equivalent size, which helps with fitment in systems designed around common battery dimensions. That gives users a more convenient upgrade path without forcing a complete redesign of the battery compartment.

Long cycle life for long-term value

The upfront price of lithium only makes sense if the battery actually lasts. This one is built to do exactly that.

The DL 12V 100Ah is rated for up to 5,000 cycles while retaining up to 80% capacity in recommended conditions. That kind of service life is one of the biggest reasons customers move to LiFePO4 in the first place. Instead of replacing batteries over and over, you get a system designed to keep delivering over the long haul.

For people who use their battery bank regularly, that longer cycle life can mean much better long-term value and far fewer replacement headaches.

Ready for RV, marine, solar, and off-grid systems

Flexibility matters when you are building or upgrading a power system.

This battery is compatible with 12V systems and can also be connected in series for up to 48V configurations, giving users more room to build around their specific power needs. That makes it a practical choice for anyone starting with a single battery now and planning to expand later.

It is a strong fit for:

  • RV house power systems
  • trolling motors
  • marine electronics and accessories
  • solar energy storage
  • off-grid cabins and backup setups
  • other deep cycle 12V applications

Why customers choose the Dakota Lithium DL 12V 100Ah

Customers looking at this battery are usually trying to solve a real problem. They want longer runtime, lighter weight, fewer maintenance headaches, and a battery that keeps delivering steady power instead of fading fast. They want something that feels dependable, not disposable.

This battery stands out because it brings together the things that actually matter in real use:

  • 100Ah capacity for extended deep cycle runtime
  • 12.8V output with 1280Wh of stored energy
  • LiFePO4 chemistry for stable, reliable performance
  • Internal heating for low-temperature charging support
  • Active BMS protection with cell balancing and key safety functions
  • Group 24 equivalent sizing for easier fitment
  • Lightweight design compared to sealed lead-acid batteries
  • Stable voltage during discharge for more consistent power delivery
  • Series compatibility for up to 48V systems
  • Up to 5,000-cycle life
  • 11-year manufacturer defect warranty

Ideal for

The Dakota Lithium DL 12V 100Ah is a strong fit for:

  • trolling motor setups
  • RV house battery systems
  • marine deep cycle applications
  • solar storage systems
  • off-grid power setups
  • users replacing lead-acid batteries with a lighter, longer-lasting option

If you need a battery for engine starting, this is not the right fit. This battery is designed specifically for deep cycle use. But if you want dependable lithium power for longer runtimes, cold-weather charging support, and lower-maintenance ownership, this is the kind of battery that makes a lot more sense.

It is built for people who want reliable power without the usual battery headaches.

An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Queen of Roses (Blood of a Fae #1) by Briar Boleyn Genre General Fiction ( Adult), Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dark Romance “More primordial than the stars. My name was on his lips as he promised unspeakable darkness to any who came between us.” Right from the start, I was drawn in by the prologue!!! I’m a big fan of “touch her, and you die” vibes, but I mean, what’s also not to love about a unique Arthurian retelling with gender twists, a treacherous royal court, a dangerous quest, magical Fae & mystical monsters, entwined with a bit of spice! Morgan, Princess of Pendrath and true heir to the throne has spent most of her life dimming her light to feel safe and to make others comfortable. She is treated as an outcast in the court and repressed by her family due to the blood of the Fae within her and forced to join the Temple of the Three as a priestess in training to one day replace Merlin. Her brother, King Arthur, who reminds me of Joffrey from Game of Thrones, later tells her that he has other plans and offers her a choice of the Temple or to marry her off for political gain, unless… that is, she can journey through the great unknown and return with a long-lost fae weapon with enchanted powers known as Excalibur. Her quest begins with a roguish crew that includes the mysterious, arrogant, and heart-tuggingly handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Kairos Draven, whom she can’t decide if she wants to stab or indulge in pleasure with. Along the way are plenty of surprises, mystical creatures, and betrayal, all while Morgan uncovers more of the truth about herself and who she can trust. This book had intriguing storylines and lovable characters that kept me turning pages and wanting more. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds and comes together in book 2, Court of Claws, which I just started reading!! Read if you’re into- Dark Fantasy/Romance Slow–Burn Question Everything Magic and Action Fae Arthurian Legend Stabby/Broken FFC Morally Gray MMC Forced Proximity Queen of Roses is perfect for Holly Black, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Sarah J. Maas fans. Please check the trigger warnings page in the table of contents before reading this book.
