The book is set on the planet Penumbra, which sees little sunlight. Penumbrans typically gather their light from fallen stars. However, there is a star drought and with no starlight, people are getting Starloss Sickness. Thea is a star-searcher and is struggling to find light to save her father from Starloss Sickness. To find more light, Thea goes on an adventure.

What Thea does, you will do as well. You will be part of her journey and her world. As you follow Thea’s adventures, you’ll create different light circuits in order to bring light to Thea’s world.

Features & Functions

Star-searcher Thea lives in a world of darkness. You, the reader, will join Thea on her electrifying journey to find light before her father succumbs to Starloss Sickness. With stars (LED stickers) and copper (copper tape), you will try to bring light to Thea’s planet and people.

 

After finishing this book, you will have made nine or ten scenes with light. Afterwards, you can go back through the book and by simply clipping on the battery, recreate the scenes you made!

As a bonus, as part of the journey, you will have learned circuit basics such as the difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit. If you’re a young one, you can do this all by yourself or get some help from a parent, teacher, or friend.

This book will be your cup of TEA if you like Technology, Engineering, and Arts.

First of all, let me start of saying I never write reviews, so I hope that tells you something. I bought this lotion while my husband and I were in Hawai'i on our honeymoon. I have freckles with semi-fair skin, so I tend to burn - then tan. The Maui Babe lotion is truly amazing! It smells wonderful and goes on light. We had a Jeep while visiting Hawai'i for 10 days, so I ended up with a slight case of sun poisoning on my chest. I applied the Maui Babe and Aloe for 2 days, and the sun poisoning was gone. I didn't peal AT ALL!! In addition, I literally kept my tan for at least three weeks after returning from Hawai'i. One of the more interesting things; I have noticed a difference in my skin. I have never been much of a makeup person, as I like the natural look. Mascara is it. I am 35, so age is slowly creeping up. I started using Vitamin C serum a year ago, but didn't notice much of a difference. After two weeks of using the Maui Babe; my face had a glow and looks so healthy. My fine lines seem to be less and my skin looks more alive. The lotion doesn't irritate my skin one bit, nor did it cause me to have any sort of pimples; however, I am blessed to have never had an issue in that department. I don't know if it will do the same for you that it has done for me, but I feel that the natural ingredients in this secret lotion are magic. Sometimes it's the simplest things that do the trick. I have everyone in my family using it. I highly recommend it!!

A must have for beach babes!

I absolutely love this lotion. If you want to keep your tan longer, and avoid immediate or even soon after peeling, this really works. To sum, it moisturized, prevented peeling and maintained my tan throughout the spring into the summer. The long story-- I began using this product at the end of spring, right after I returned from a Bahamaian vacation in the early spring. I naturally have a year round tan, but in the sun, I become browner and love to maintain that summer bronze glow that happens when I frolic on the beach for days. I knew it was going to be awhile before I could regularly go to the beach so I saw this product and decided to try. I used to not peel, but once I hit my 30s I began to peel regularly, after tanning. Yes, I still went to the beach with a base tan (which helps when tanning), but I am sure it would've faded quicker without this product. I also didn't start peeling until I ran out of this product. I use it everyday after getting out of the shower, all over my body. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't seem to bother it at all, and it has a light pleasant smell (not strong coconut-y). I highly recommend! Oh, because it's so light, it may not seem to be absorbing properly, but no worries-- it does, without clogging!
