The four lower apartments each have a 2" diameter entry hole, leading to a 5.25" by 5.5" nesting chamber. A plywood board rests atop these compartments, creating an 11.75" square top apartment for one additional nesting pair. A hole on this slat makes it easy to lift for nest checks, and the unattached roof also removes in moments for maintenance. A bottom platform ensures stability and landing spots for martins, while an integrated bracket beneath this slides readily over a standard 4 x 4 post (not included) for displaying the home in your yard.
