Limited seven inch vinyl pressing. "I released the original 12" volume of Five Fingers Of Death Battle Breaks way back in 1998, while I was living in Oakland and then San Francisco during a time of incredible movement and creativity within the suddenly exploding Scratch DJ scene. The term turntablist, coined by DJ Disk, had yet to really catch on outside of the Bay Area scratch fraternity. Having recently moved to California from New York, Paul's turntable aesthetics were strictly '80s East Coast and was more concerned with "catching doubles" (beat juggling) and overall party rocking. In other words, the science of scratching was not something I was even contemplating. Needless to say, I was completely amazed and overwhelmed with what DJs like QBert, Shortcut, Apollo and Mixmaster Mike were doing. It was also around this time that I had discovered that these guys were giving a lot of play to an independently pressed beat record I had made before leaving NY. "Fists of the White Lotus" was originally on an instrumental EP I did with my mentor Joey T on his Empire Records label (Beats Anonymous Vol.1). I remember when QBert found out I had made that record. His immediate response was, "Holy shit! I love that record!" I said back to him: "Can I quote you on that?" I pressed up the first couple of hundred copies of Five Fingers Of Death Battle Breaks complete with a sticker on the shrinkwrap containing Q's quote. Those first couple of hundred quickly turned into a thousand. Then three thousand. Then before you know it, Volume 2. And 3. And so on. This record now is a nostalgic return to these days for me. The Ad got me, the reality didn't

Directly from the ad- "Exclusive Noisemakers - Each large toy includes 3 high-quality round squeakers to deliver more sound to keep your best friend entertained.". Now my neighbor bought this squirrel with three high-quality squeakers nearly a year ago. It's ragged and tattered I just recently sewed it up for him where he chewed the one leg odd, but those three noise makers are still squeaking. Whe I got my pup, I immediately went to buy one and they were no longer selling them, so I've been on a search for one or an equivalent. These are not.
There's no stuffing to get all over the place when your pup breaks into it, a plus. However the squeakers weren't particularly loud and were silenced in a few hours. Two were dead and the remaining one was very well on its way. The toy itself was pretty much intact but that had more to do with the lack of attention from the dog than how rugged the toy is. He'll pick it up once in a while but it certainly didn't meet my expectations.
The good thing is that there are three of them so I can give him some brief excitement in the future. Wouldn't buy again.

Strong Chewer Friendly Toy

My dog is a rough chewer and these last a really long time (clearly since this beaver's face is long gone! The no stuffing is a win too for cleaning up afterwards.

Fantastic Dog Toy!!!

This is a great toy!!! My dog has lots of toys. But one of the problems is he has trouble getting the squeaker to squeak. He's an 18 lb terrier mix, and those squeakers are just elusive. Breaks my heart.
This one, though, the squeakers (there are two) are in small areas (head and tail), that are easy for him to get his whole mouth around and squeak. They also don't move, which also makes them easy to squeak.
So he's been squeaking up a storm since he got this!
Other plusses:
* The material is great (soft, furry material, that seems to be of good quality).
* The toy expands and contracts, which is fun.
* It's pleasant to look at.
All in all, I'd say this is one of the best dog toys I've ever bought for my dog. Highly recommended!

Great Toy in Spite of Everything.
Color: Purple
My dog is a border collie. She loves chewing, fetching, tug of war and catch. The first day we had this toy she chewed off two of the feet. I didn't give it much of a life span. Two weeks later she chewed off a third foot. Miraculously no stuffing was exposed. It has now been a month and the toy is still going strong, albeit with one foot! She loves it.
It is now June 1st. It has been almost three months and I am retiring the toy. It no longer has any feet and the tail has been ripped open and stuffing is coming out. All in all I think I got my money's worth from this toy. I ordered another one. She still loves it!
