Vinyl LP pressing. 2013 album from the prolific singer/songwriter and Guided By Voices main man. Honey Locust Honky Tonk is a compact wonder and so varied, tuneful, graceful, magnificent and ebullient that one will be forgiven for thinking that Robert Pollard has saved his best for his own album. Slicker in some ways than recent Guided By Voices efforts, though not without it's own down-home charm, it's 17 songs whiz by in 34 minutes, stridently showcasing Pollard's songwriting mastery with some of the best tunes he's ever penned. The longest, the semi-stately album closer 'Airs,' clocks in at just over three and a half minutes, but most are in the two- or two-and-half-minute range typical of Pollard's attenuating genius. In truth, Pollard never holds anything back, and always seems uncannily able to pull any number of music tricks from his magic sleeve. He's done it again, folks. Honey Locust Honky Tonk is as sweet and as sharp as anything Pollard and friends has ever produced. Bite it and see.

Works great in my setup
I got this for my work desk, and it does exactly what it's advertised to do: it holds my laptop (which is 16 inches). And it doesn't wobble and shake whenever I type on my external keyboard (I use a Unicomp Ultra Classic, which uses buckling springs, so I'm putting a decent amount of force into each keypress - if a stand is not stable, it will be immediately obvious to me), and I can even move my mouse underneath the stand without running into any problems. (Before, when my laptop was sitting directly on the desk, it was annoying how it made me move my keyboard around and inhibited my range of mouse movement, but now I can place my keyboard right where I want it and use my mouse as I please.)
The stand feels very sturdy and well-constructed, and it keeps my laptop at eye level. Height-adjust would be nice, but I have yet to find a good quality adjustable laptop stand, so I'll just use books to adjust it if the need arises. The box it comes in is also quite nice.
This thing freed up desk space where I needed it and is unlikely to ever fail (there are no moving parts), so I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a laptop stand.

Not Your Average Laptop Stand
One of the things that I always worry about with stands for my computer is how sturdy they will be. If they aren't sturdy, they aren't really worth having. This is super sturdy -- I don't feel any bounce or flex when I work on it. It's also super well made and looks good sitting on my desk. Both of those things make this one of the best stands that I've used. I just wish it were adjustable.
