"Welcome to the second solo vinyl album by Jeffrey Alexander, best known these days for the lysergic guidance he provides for SF's Dire Wolves. But Alexander has underground roots that go far beyond his work with the Wolves. Back in the '90s, when still based in Providence RI, he ran the Secret Eye label, helmed a couple of superb acid-folk units and was the person most responsible for bringing not one, but two editions of the Terrastock Festival to the city Lovecraft built. Since relocating to the Bay Area, Alexander has spent a good bit of time turning Dire Wolves into one of the most elegantly psychedelic bands on the scene, and has also managed to lend an occasional splash of sound to Jackie O Motherfucker. And all of these different arcs make themselves felt on Meditations for Beowulf. Buttressed by two tracks with vocals, there are six instrumentals that explore many nooks and crannies of experimental logic, running from the doodly keyboard larking of 'Turn Your Lights Down Low' to the crackly, throbbing space-wheeze of 'Iridescent Clouds.' The two vocal tracks have the lyrics printed on the back, so you can sing along if you like. 'Beowulf's Trip' has a stoned vibe that will make fans of the MVEE sound tingle deep down in their souls. And 'Sunsplash Your Mind' is a sort of answer song to the well-known question, 'What was it like to do acid with John Lennon?' The answer is especially intriguing because it posits that Lennon was able to predict the names of Hüsker Dü's three LPs for SST. And also that he could distinguish between and actual LP and a mere mini-LP (Metal Circus) when doing his augury. Pretty damn hep. As is rest of this splendid face full of smoke. Breathe deep. Highly recommend

I was skeptical that it would hold up to our aggressive chewer puppy (staffyX) - especially during teething. But it has survived past teething into adult chompers and is still fantastic! Its his favorite outside toy, especially the tags make it fun (and those have been holding up well too). If/when it fails, I'll buy another one.

great design, poor overall quality

My dog loves these balls. The "tags" are a great design. The problem I have is the quality as they aren't tough enough. He goes through them pretty quickly tearing off the tags and puncturing the ball. He doesn't get that these actually cost money!
Each one also comes with a small pump, which I guess is great for a one time buy?, but man, if you don't own a pump just buy one and keep one. I have no use for several of these cheap pumps. How about offering the pump as an add-on for a dollar or two?

Ummmm🙄 not indestructible!

I have a Aussie doodle ( 1 1/2 yr old) so I decided to get her this one for Christmas and she loved it (she plays soccer with my grandkids-so I thought it would be a perfect gift and the colors are so cool green and yellow) however ..if your dog is like mine, she busted it within two days first tried chewing off the handles so I decided to cut the rest of them off-then proceeded to tear one of the pentagons entirely off and finally completely busted it… which made her very happy, but I was very sad!! If your dog is not a chewer and does not stop until she tears it apart, especially if it has some kind of noise maker which this does not-it’s a great ball and really well made! She loved it from the minute she got it played with it-wouldn’t let us take it away from her!
It is made and looks like a real soccer ball. So I will have to keep searching for an indestructible soccer ball🙄😁

I have a large Cane Corso who could obviously shred this but, she loves it. This ball is holding up really well. We use it for outside play and she loves batting it around and swinging it from the loops.

What a wonderful treat, loved by our very fussy dog!
Our very fussy Havanese absolutely LOVES these sticks! I had to find a new product after the USA-made chicken wrapped rawhide sticks were no longer available. It is very difficult to find a quality product made in the USA & while these are made in Cambodia, they seem to be made under very strict standards. I was also impressed that this co. claims it has never had a recall of their products. I also relied on the many, many excellent reviews of past customers. Our Teddy gets a stick every morning & then will wait by the pantry to get an additional 1 or 2 or more throughout the day! He usually does not eat the rawhide, just chews it up a bit. He is in love with these!! He also has a sensitive stomach & these have never bothered him one bit. His teeth are also quite clean from using these!
