Vittorio Matteucci vocals; Syntax Quartet: Marco Strano tenor and soprano saxophones, Bruno Cesselli grandpiano, Federico Malaman doublebass and electric bass, Massimo Manzi drums
96kHz/24bit original live-in-studio two tracks direct to master recording made at MagisterArea Studios, Preganziol, on July 16th, 2011.

Vittorio Matteucci is universally considered the King of Italian Musicals (he was the lead in "Notre Dame de Paris," then "Dracula" for PFM, Scarpia in Dalla's "Tosca," "Dante Alighieri" in Frisina's opera of the same name, and the Unnamed in "I Promessi Sposi"...), but before that, he was the leader of the US Band for many years, which accompanied Smokey Robinson and James Brown, among others. He was also the singer in Demo Morselli's band.
In short, Vittorio is a great performer: a great voice, an excellent stage actor. He embodies, like very few other Italian artists, what is almost mandatory in the United States: knowing how to sing, act, dance... He moves on stage with the ease and authority of the greats.

His repertoire also ranges from singer-songwriter to jazz, with the classic approach of the great “crooner”.
The idea of producing this album, entirely dedicated to some of the most famous and fascinating standards of the American Songbook and Italian singer-songwriter music, somehow made “homogeneous” by the splendid arrangements with a purely jazz flavour created by Bruno Cesselli and Federico Malaman, respectively pianist and bassist of the Syntax Quartet, the jazz quartet desired and led by saxophonist Marco Strano, who accompanies Vittorio on this project (the “dream team” is completed by drummer Massimo Manzi, another giant – in every sense – of the international jazz scene).

I have so far insisted a lot on the concept of "stage", since the most natural dimension for both Vittorio and the musicians who support him is undoubtedly the "live" one.
For this reason we decided to record this album live, at the end of the 2011 summer tour.
However, wanting to ensure the best possible technical quality, we decided to conceive and produce a decidedly unique live event. Taking advantage of the physical and acoustic characteristics of the main hall of the MagisterArea studios in Preganziol—which we can rightly liken to a "small auditorium"—we invited a small group of friends who, attending the concert as an "audience," ensured the most authentic live experience. At the same time, we were able to exploit all the technical refinements typical of a large recording studio, ensuring the best possible sound quality.

The recording was then made in a “vintage” way both in terms of the approach and for most of the equipment used (our homage to the roaring 60s of a historic label like Blue Note is evident): and then mixed live to a master with two stereo tracks, both analog on a 1/4” open reel at 38 cm/sec, and digital, on a 96kHz/24bit PCM stereo file, taking advantage of the superb AD conversion guaranteed by the Prism Sound Dream AD2. And we cannot fail to mention the use of the legendary Neumann U 47 and U 87 microphones, the Soundcraft 3200 analog mixing console with analog stages modified to our specifications and a whole series of strictly tube-based outboard control devices.

The result of our work is now finally available to everyone: enjoy listening.

Quality & Durability
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
If you need cable for your power supply and ground. Look no further. This is quality from the copper to the insulation. I wasn't sure about buying wires off amazon but this is my new favorite. Done several trucks and they are holding up just fine.

EXCELLENT FLEXIBLE BATTERY CABLE
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 10 ft Red
This 2awg gauge cable works perfect, nothing more nothing less. The rubber coating on the wire is made with some kind of clothlike material, will work great to resist engine heat with it's thickness. It's real OFC flexible cable very durable and worth the price!!

Good for welding leads
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
Needed some welding lead extensions for a Miller maxstar clone typically running under 200 amps output. This cable fit the bill nicely.

Nice and flexible wire
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
This feels like nice wire and pure copper which is worth the extra cost. I was able to route this along the frame and around other wires with no issues, well at least not the fault of the wire. The insulation seemed to hold up with no issue as I pulled and re-routed it a few times. I haven't used the winch yet, so I can't say how the wire has held up under heavy load but I hope to soon so stay tuned. Have fun!

Very impressed with quality
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black
Quality, pliable and exactly what I was hoping for. I used it for a remote negative terminal kill switch. I have a C10 and Ran the cable from the negative terminal into the cab to a 12-volt kill switch and then back out of the cab to a ground on the frame. I would definitely recommend the cable and use it again.
