The Rabbit COL1Alpha2 (Collagen Type I Alpha 2) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rabbit COL1Alpha2. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rabbit COL1Alpha2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rabbit COL1Alpha2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rabbit COL1Alpha2. You can calculate the concentration of Rabbit COL1Alpha2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Mia Sheridans thrillers are one of my top favorites, her writing style is so raw and beautiful. I wanted to love this one as much as Bad Mother or All the Little Raindrops but it just didn't hit the same mark for me. The book starts off with a bang, but soon becomes a bit more dormant for the middle portion. I still enjoyed the book, but I think I had a preconceived notion it would be more along those lines, I felt the plot of this one wasn't as suspenseful, it was fairly straight forward which is fine just not what I expected. Or maybe I'm just desensitized from all the thrillers I read. I did love the themes of how trauma, resilience and love weave together, a chance at a do over. I also felt Seraphinas portion was a little clunky and illogical in the overall storyline. Regardless I love Mia Sheridans writing and won't stray away from her thrillers.
