WQ Grip Shell | Non Slip Battery Wrap for Cordless Tools

Overview

The WQ Grip Shell is a soft rubber battery wrap built to keep cordless tools steady on any surface. It slides over most compact tool batteries and gives them a secure, non slip base that protects paint, carts, ladders, fenders, and workbenches from scratches and accidental drops. Whether you work in PDR, detailing, construction, electrical, HVAC, or general shop work, this simple upgrade helps prevent slips that slow you down.

The Grip Shell is flexible, strong, and easy to use. Just stretch it over your battery and you get added grip, better stability, and a cleaner work setup. It also doubles as a small holder for tabs, screws, clips, or hardware during a job. Available in multiple colors so you can match your tools or sort your gear, the WQ Grip Shell keeps your workflow organized and safe.

Detailed Features and Benefits

Fits Most Tool Batteries

The WQ Grip Shell works with most Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt, Bosch, Ryobi, and other batteries up to 6Ah. It stretches smoothly and stays tight, giving your cordless tools a secure base in both shop and mobile work.

Soft Rubber for Grip and Surface Safety

The rubber adds friction so your tools stay put on painted surfaces, tool carts, ladders, or uneven work areas. It also protects the surface underneath from scratches, dents, or marks caused by hard plastic batteries.

Built for Work in Many Trades

PDR techs use it on painted panels.
Detailers use it on carts and hoods.
Electricians and HVAC techs use it on ladders and roofs.
Mechanics and DIY users rely on it for steady tool placement in tight spaces.

The shell adapts to many environments and keeps tools from slipping where they can cause damage.

Works as a Small Catch Cup

The Grip Shell can also serve as a small holder for glue tabs, screws, clips, or hardware. Set it on a cart or panel and it keeps small items from rolling away.

Color Options for Easy Sorting

Choose from red, green, blue, black, or purple. The colors help you organize batteries, match tool sets, or keep track of different tools on busy job sites.

Compact and Reusable

Keep one in every drawer or tool bag. The shell is light, flexible, and easy to move between batteries. It holds up well under heavy use and stays ready for daily work.

Professional Use Case Scenarios

PDR and Detailing Work

Place tools on hoods, doors, or fenders without worrying about slips. The Grip Shell keeps tools steady and prevents paint damage in shop or mobile settings.

Construction, Electrical, and HVAC

The non slip base helps tools stay put on ladders, roofs, and elevated work areas. This reduces risk of dropped tools and helps keep the workspace safe.

General Shop Use

In busy shops, tools often slide off carts or toolboxes. The Grip Shell adds enough grip to prevent rolling or tipping.

Mobile Technicians

In vans or mobile trailers, tools stay more secure during transport and setup. The rubber base helps minimize shifting on metal shelves and carts.

Comparison to Other Battery Covers

Hard plastic covers do little to stop sliding or protect surfaces. The WQ Grip Shell creates a soft barrier that grips well and prevents scratches.

Some wraps are sized only for one brand. The Grip Shell stretches across many battery types, making it easy to use in mixed tool setups.

Generic covers often wear down quickly or lose grip. This shell is made from durable rubber that stays effective through daily shop work.

Why Choose WilleyQuick

WilleyQuick develops tools and gear built for real technicians who need simple solutions that make work cleaner and safer. The WQ Grip Shell fits into the WilleyQuick system of PDR tools, carts, accessories, and workflow helpers designed to improve control and reduce downtime. With strong grip, flexible fit, and durable material, this shell supports smooth work in any environment.

Maintenance and Care Guide

Wipe the shell clean after use to remove dust or debris.
Check for tears or excess wear over time.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Avoid contact with harsh solvents that may damage the rubber.

Proper care helps the Grip Shell stay flexible and reliable.

Just linear
Format: Paperback
I appreciate that it helps to organize the chaos of information, but I just used the template verbatim with my manager and it did not go very well. He said this linear approach does not work anymore with high-level corporate audiences. They want to cut right to the chase and start to dig into the deep details. This layout with simple images, even if you just pull away the map and anchor slides, makes the storytelling too much like a story, not giving enough credit to the speed at which certain audiences can and do process data on a slide. It was an interesting exercise and I still think this linear layout works in some cases. Just not if you are trying to communicate business case or other C-suite type of information.

Student Review
This book is an excellent introduction to the basic principles of insurance. We used this text as a supplement in our Intro to Act. Sci. class. It is very readable, easy to understand. Minimal mathematics required, some basic calculus concepts used, but only briefly. Don't let it's small size fool ya, it has plenty of information in there.

A #MustRead for cybersecurity practitioners
Format: Kindle
Rick Howard's latest book is the ultimate reference for cybersecurity practitioners, making it an essential read for anyone in the field. With his straightforward and refreshingly irreverent writing style, coupled with his profound technical knowledge, Rick has created a narrative that is easy to understand and grasp. He delves into the foundational aspect of cybersecurity, which he refers to as the cybersecurity first principle, which he then it to specific high-impact strategies. The book has eight well-written chapters providing a comprehensive overview of those strategies. Importantly, Rick then offers an up-to-date and thorough exploration of the complementary capabilities (tactical-level tools) that can be utilized to "reduce the probability of material impact due to a cyber event" - the cyber first principle. In the concluding chapter, Rick succinctly summarizes his contribution to the field, stating, "And that's it. Those are all the tools you need to design, build, and enhance a cybersecurity program based on first principle thinking." This assertion highlights the value of his book as a practical guide for designing and improving cybersecurity programs with a focus on first principles.
