I was given a Book of Mormon by a neighbor. He asked that I read it, pray about it, and said that God would give me a burning in my bosom that it was true. Each evening as I went to bed, I got on my knees and prayed that God would show me the truth. I was thirteen years old. Glaring inconsistencies bothered me, which I discussed with this very fine neighbor. The result was not me becoming LDS, but him becoming a Christian and a strong Christian leader. For sixty-five years I have continued to study with LDS missionaries, church apologists, and friends. Many have found the freedom that comes from knowing Christ. This book was forged in the fires of experience. It is the approach that has proven most effective. This is the third revision of this book, which has been out of print since 1983. Very nicely done
Format: Paperback
This is a well written, very thorough and easy to read volume which I am glad to have read. I bought the updated 2024 edition. Although the style is easy to read, there is a large amount of practical information, very useful down the road. The authors cover legal issues well, and compared to other books Ive read on executor duties, this one takes the prize. i will look for other work by Mary Randolph, or at least NOLO in the future.

Basic information that covers many different situations an executor might face. Good book to read as you start acting as executor but you will need to consult other resources for in-depth discussion of more complicated situations.

Uncomplicated; comprehensive reading! It was a good buy!
The task of preparing a will is very daunting. I was ready to give up and hire a lawyer for my small estate. This book addressed all of my concerns and then some. There is even a section for information on each state's laws. I know what I need to do now. The book will now go to the executor of my estate. He will appreciate the comprehensive coverage of each subject.
