Many scientists, philosophers, and laypeople imagine pain to operate like a rigid, simple signaling system, as if a particular injury generates a fixed amount of pain that simply gets transmitted to the brain; yet this mechanistic model is woefully lacking in the face of the surprising facts about what people and animals do and experience when their bodies are damaged. Patrick Wall looks at these questions and sets his scientific account in a broad context, interweaving it with a wealth of fascinating and sometimes disturbing historical detail, such as famous characters who derived pleasure from pain, the unexpected reactions of injured people, the role of endorphins, and the power of placebo. Garbage!!!

The description of this item claims it is a room divider for patio privacy. The problem is that a little gust of wind and down it goes. Ther's not much privacy when it's always on the floor. This poor design needs some braces on the bottom to give it some stability and keep it from blowing over. Mine came damaged and the seller wanted me to pay $80 to have it shipped back to them despite uploading pictures of the broken hinge it came with. Take my advice, keep looking and don't settle for this one!

Beautiful, sturdy, and easy-to-install shelves that instantly make the bathroom look more organized and stylish.
These floating shelves completely transformed the look of my bathroom. The wood color is rich and warm, and once installed, the shelves look much more expensive than they actually are. They add both decoration and practical storage without taking up extra space.
Installation was straightforward, and everything aligned well. Once mounted, the shelves feel very sturdy. The toilet paper holder is especially useful, and the storage box has enough space for two rolls plus small decor pieces.
The shelves also have great weight capacity. I added decor, candles, and a picture frame, and everything sits securely. They really elevate the room, giving it a cleaner and more put-together appearance. The set arrives packed well, and the finish has no scratches or flaws.
For bathrooms, entryways, or small spaces, this set is an excellent choice. It’s functional, stylish, and adds instant charm to the room.

Good Quality for the Price

Surprisingly good quality for shelves made of particle board. They look nice and hold quite a bit of weight when installed properly. I ordered another shorter set of floating shelves from another seller on Amazon. Those shelves were of especially horrible quality when compared to these.
