The Adventurous Melody West Series Book 3: It is autumn and Melody West leaves her hometown and goes on an adventurous journey with her all-girl chorus to Ukraine. At the start of the novel, Melody is worried her chorus is uninspired and unprepared for their upcoming performance. However, once Melody and her chorus land in Kyiv they soon discover how to look to the past for inspiration and show their audience the human spirit with its hopes and joys and sorrows. Central to the novel is a piece of sculpture called the Blue Dancer, made by Ukrainian artist Alexander Archipenko. Melody first sees the Blue Dancer at the art museum in Maplewood and is convinced the enigmatic dancer is keeping a secret from her.
