A stunning example of an iridescent ammonite fossil of the species Caloceras johnstoni from North Somerset, UK.

The matrix measures 143 mm (5.65 inches) across and contains two ammonites, one on each side of the matrix. The ammonites measure 100mm (3.9 inches) and 75 mm (3 inches), which is very large for this species. The ammonites sit in the original limestone matrix in which they were found that has been shaped. It is a thin piece of shale that does not stand by itself, making it an ideal drawer fossil or display fossil with a stand (not included)

The ammonites are very well preserved and have been prepared out of the rock to reveal the shells, which display some beautiful subtle iridescence that causes the colours to change as the viewing angle changes. There are deep red colours with flashes of orange, green, and gold colours against a pearlescent sheen. It weighs 545 grams. A crack in the larger ammonite has been repaired but does not detract from the beauty of the specimen.

These fossils are highly sought after and hard to find, especially large complete examples like this one. They are preserved in the same way as the famous Canadian "Ammolite" ammonites that are turned into valuable gemstones. These fossils make great unusual gifts and each one is totally unique.

Around 200 million years old (Hettangian, Early Jurassic), this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Nice Scent but Too Early to See Results
I’ve just started using this batana oil, so it’s too early to say if it actually helps with hair growth or thickness. I’ll need to use it consistently for a while before seeing real results. So far, I do like the smell—it has a nice scent and doesn’t feel overwhelming. The oil itself feels nourishing and easy to apply to the scalp and hair. The size is decent for the price, but like most hair treatments, the effectiveness will really depend on long-term use. Pros: Pleasant scent Feels nourishing on hair and scalp Easy to apply Cons: Too early to tell results Overall, it seems promising, but you’ll need to give it time to see if it actually delivers on the hair growth claims.

Great batana oil for hair
Banana oil is so incredible, I will never stop singing its praises. I am prone to dry scalp and have thin, curly hair that needs just the right amount of moisture or it will frizz out. Batana oil has helped restore balance to my scalp and reduced flakes and it adds just enough moisture to my hair. This oil is a great version. It is thick, but not so thick that it doesn't melt in your hands if you rubs them together. I also have not noticed any stickiness or excessive left on my hands that can happen with some Banana oil brands. I do want to note that I usually put the batana oil on my scalp, let it sit for 15-20 minutes then wash it out, if you are going to let it stay in your hair, this may be too heavy for you. Otherwise, a great deal at the list price of $14, since a little goes a long way.

On the fence...
Will be updating review after I have used it for more than a week. But so far here are the pros and cons: Pros: Smells good Seems like a little goes a long way Easy to apply Cons: Not sure if this is because I didn't use Sulfate free shampoo, but felt like with one wash I didn't get all the product out of my hair, so when It dried, it still looked greasy/oily Will be washing my hair again with sulfate free shampoo, then will do another application in another day or so. it says to use 2-3 times a week, so I'll use it 3 times a week for 2 weeks and then come back and update my review. But so far, it seams like a good product and for the money, it's a fair value.
