The Beatles Liverpool Landscapes explores the Beatles' family links with Liverpool, delving deeply into the history of the band and the city.

We explore the Irish Lennons’ 1840s dockland streets, the McCartneys’ Everton, the Harrisons’ Wavertree, and the deep roots of the Starkeys in Toxteth. 

The book also explores the city landscapes directly associated with the band. We follow Ritchie Starkey from Madryn Street to Admiral Grove, we shadow George Harrison to school along Church Road, we watch birds in Paul McCartney’s Speke and we watch as John Lennon is hauled out of a fight on Penny Lane. 

The book is brought right up to date with a walk through the city centre’s Beatles links, and closes in the National Trust properties of Mendips and Forthlin Road. 

Author biography

David Lewis has spent many years exploring Liverpool and Merseyside, either on foot, through the archives or through photographs, and he has worked with photographers and other writers on exhibitions and radio pieces about the city. He now lives in the Welsh Marches and his walk blogs and Seasonal Journals reflect his love for both rural and urban landscapes.

If you miss out now there will be NO TURNING BACK! I'm not a fanatic but I would hate to see anyone spend eternity in that situation. God is a God of second chances. His love is real for everyone. You need to know why you need to accept Jesus as Savior now so you won't have to endure the things that are coming. And it could be here at any moment. David Jeremiah tells you why you need to be ready!

The beginning is a well written history on the background of what is happening in Revelations, how and why Revalations came about, and what will occur in the ends times. Lots of prophecy, (which I love to read about) but I am finding it difficult to understand. I am a fast reader, so maybe for someone else, who reads slowly and with intention, they may understand it better. I guess I was hoping for a little easier read and right to the point. This could be my problem and not the book! David Jeremiah is a wonderful pastor and his teachings are always relatable and easy to understand so as I write this, I think it's the reader's problem, not the writer :)
