Self-titled with quiet confidence, Slowdive's stargazing alchemy is set to further entrance the faithful while beguiling a legion of fresh ears. Deftly swerving what co-vocalist/guitarist Rachel Goswell terms "a trip down memory lane," these eight new tracks are simultaneously expansive and the sonic pathfinders' most direct material to date. Birthed at the band's talismanic Oxfordshire haunt The Courtyard, their diamantine melodies were mixed to a suitably hypnotic sheen at Los Angeles' famed Sunset Sound facility by Chris Coady. "It's poppier than I thought it was going to be," notes principal songwriter Neil Halstead, who was the primary architect of 1995's previous full-length transmission Pygmalion. This time out the group dynamic was all-important. "When you're in a band and you do three records, there's a continuous flow and a development. For us, that flow re-started with us playing live again and that has continued into the record." "There's a different energy about it," adds drummer Simon Scott. "It took ages to get back together and write songs and for it to click in the studio, but this album doesn't feel like a bolt-on - it's got an energy that's as vibrant as Souvlaki and Just for a Day. It feels very relevant to now."

Easily placed, small and perfect for giving remote a home
Great design, allows for the tag of my smart roku
Remote to be able to hang out easily.it was so easy to set up, just pulled off adhesive sticker and stuck it where i needed it. The size is perfect to hold the remote that i have and the weight is light but sturdy, like the first one we bought for my husbands side the bed since we are in a rv and the drawers are pain in the butt to dig for remote at night that i broke down and bought one more, will be purchasing for my sons tv remote as well. I showed from several different views,
1. With remote and the tag of my remote in its placement
2. Without the remote
3. The bottom view that shows the view without remote
4.bottom view with remote in place
5. Remote placed in a different angle to show that the remote fits well

Does the job
Works as stated. Good fit for my Roku remote but is not a good fit to mount on my Roku TV. However, the caddy adheres to nearly any surface. Just be aware that painted surfaces may damage if caddy is removed and repositioned.

Small but holds well
Smaller than I would’ve liked my remote with a slim silicone case barely fits inside the holder. Other than that installation is easy just peel stick and hold for 10 seconds. It supports the weight of the remote easily.
