Benjamin Finger, James Plotkin, and Mia Zabelka craft a mesmerizing sonic world that buzzes and drones, glitches, and slithers, eventually careening into unexplored musical territory. Pleasure-Voltage was born in the mind (and studio) of Benjamin Finger - a composer, electronic music producer, DJ, photographer, and film-maker based in Oslo, Norway who in recent years has become quite a prolific artist, expanding his stylistic palette from piano miniatures and off-kilter pop experiments to lysergic, dream-like sound collages spiced with gentle warmth and sublime melody. These ingredients are also characteristic on this latest work where Finger set the musical frame before passing it on to his inspired collaborators: Mia Zabelka who for decades now has been involved in countless projects, be it as musician (violin/electronics), curator, or founder of the international sound art center klang. Haus and who has worked with, amongst others, John Zorn, Fred Frith, Electric Indigo, Robin Rimbaud (Scanner), Dälek or Phil Minton. And last but not least there's James Plotkin who entered the scene with his first band Old Lady Drivers (or O. L. D. ) on Earache in 1987 and later was a member of Khanate (with, amongst others, Stephen O'Malley) while also exploring the areas of dark ambient and electronics by working with or remixing Scorn/Mick Harris, K. K: NULL, and more. On Pleasure-Voltage, which had it's live-premiere at the Rewire festival 2018, the trio crafts a mesmerizing sonic world that buzzes and drones, glitches and slithers, eventually careening into unexplored musical territory somewhere between ambient/drone/psychedelia. Personnel: Benjamin Finger - synthesizers, piano, field recordings, electronic devices, alien objects; James Plotkin - electric guitar, granular synthesis; Mia Zabelka - E-violin, electronic devices, alien objects. I love this fan! The high speed will cool you down quickly! It's great for church! ballgames! Beach! Hotflashes!!! It's very quite! You can hold it or put on a table and position it where you want. I have one for work, one at home and one in my purse. The oldest is about 4 years old and works as good as day one.

Here for a good time, not a long time…

This fan really was great for use at work (fit in my pencil case to bring up to whichever docket I had to cover; quiet enough to run during court; and the light on the end helped me find countless pens and miscellaneous supplies that fell under the dark/closed-in clerk’s desks), however, I had to order a new one after 5 months of daily use because it just stopped turning on (the light would work, but the fan motor must have died out). I made an extra effort not to over-charge it when I got the second one, so when it died again after another ~5 months, I pivoted to trying a different product. Maybe it would work better for someone not using it so often, because aside from longevity, it was a handy little tool.
If they made it with a more durable/quality fan motor, I’d probably re-order again (but I highly doubt that’ll happen haha)

Easy to use. Stays sealed. Stays charged.

I had previously bought packing bags in a store — the kind the you had to seal and then roll/squish the air out of one end of the bag. It really took 2 people to remove most of the air. I took them to Mexico, and they were just OK.
I switched to these vacuum bags before our family ski trip. What a great purchase! This set includes multiple sizes, which worked well for both everyday clothes and bulkier cold-weather gear. They also fit well inside different size suitcases. One tip: Fill the bag, seal it shut, squish some air out, but then suck the final air out with the bag already inside your suitcase. You can "massage" the clothes and guide how the bag flattens out for a really efficient use of your suitcase space. The organization you can achieve is really impressive.
The bag material and valve is tough enough to not allow any air leaks. The red "glides" they provide make sure the seal is solid and easy to achieve. And the system is simple enough that I suspect that elementary kids or people with lower dexterity could operate it (my teens certainly had no issues packing themselves).
After returning home, I folded all the bag along their original fold lines, charged up the "sucky thing" (which still held 75% of it's charge after being used at least 20 times), and tucked it all neatly in our travel drawer, ready for our international trip next month.
Great value. High quality. I'd even go so far as to say they're fun to use.

Travel bags

Perfect packing bags. I’m using them for a trip to Alaska. The pump works easily . I tested them out and the air retention is perfect.? They are not too thick and will not take up space. The material seems like it will hold up without ripping. I will be using them often. They come in different sizes which work perfectly with different items.

These are a travel must!

We recently took a trip to Japan and South Korea with our 3 kids, and needed to bring all their clothes for 2 weeks, with as few suitcases as possible.
These bags were a life saver!
We were able to fit so much more stuff in our suitcases with these bags. I don’t know how we would have brought everything without them. We would have had to bring at least one, probably two suitcases more.
Easy to use - the vacuum is compact so you can bring it with you, but super powerful and works quickly. Remember to charge it after you use it for when you pack back up. But, you can manually push out the air as well if you’re in a pinch.
