Rustic Wood Shelf W/Pipe HardwareThis Rustic Wood Shelf W Pipe Hardware comes in several lengths with a Dark Brown Briwax finish. Its front edge features a rustic design, while the top, bottom, and sides are sanded for smoothness. Included are (2) 1 2" pipe brackets, cleared and finished with a protective coating or painted in matte black. Alternatively, 3 4" pipe brackets can be used. Shelves are 1. 75" thick and extra pipe supports are available in both 1 2" and 3 4" sizes.

How many shelves come with an order?
An order is for one shelf, if you need 2 shelves the same size you will need to order Qty 2. All shelves come with mounting hardware.
How much weight can they hold?
Shelves are not weight rated but if mounted correctly they are extremely sturdy. We recommend mounting these to as many studs in your wall as possible. If you are unable to mount to studs you will need to use the supplied drywall anchors. If you are mounting to anything other than drywall you will need to purchase the correct anchors from your location hardware store.
What type of wood do you use?
We use furniture grade Knotty Pine. Shelf is approx. 1.75" thick.

Great book to help establish a palette for a software, web or art project

I love this book for helping me establish a color palette for art projects that I want a Japanese feel to. Also just generally good for getting inspiration for color palettes that just plain look good. I've always, since I can remember from my youth, felt drawn to the Japanese color combinations in kimono. fashion, origami paper and even toys. Maybe it's a consequence of growing up in Hawaii with all the Japanese influences I had -- or, as I suspect, it's just really good color application. This book helps me find the colors I want that go together the way I want. I use the examples in this book with a Color Muse to pick my digital color palette.

Useful and creative gift
