This vinyl album features both French and English voiceover narrations, along with organic textures and Trevor Duncan’s impressionistic score. More than half a century has passed since La Jetées theatrical release - now is the time to travel back to the sudden roar of this masterpiece in a completely different light. This is the story of a man, marked by an image from his childhood. Thus begins, with deceptive simplicity, Chris Markers La Jetée (1962). The film, by far Markers best-known work, synthesizes many of the elusive filmmakers central preoccupations - time and memory, power and resistance, the ephemerality and resilience of love - yet it also undermines the very idea of film. Composed almost entirely of still photographs, La Jetée quite literally pieces together the tale of an unnamed, forsaken protagonist, drafted into a series of time travel experiments in post-apocalyptic Paris. While Marker creates some of the most hauntingly beautiful imagery in cinema, what animates La Jetées frozen pictures is its sparse and unsettling soundscape. Whispers, breaths and heartbeats offer an unnerving reminder of bodily rhythms that, inside the film and out, will inevitably cease. Fragments of symphonic music at once capture a love affair and underscore the tragedy awaiting it. The poetic momentum of the narrators voice, our only guide: On the tenth day, images begin to ooze, like confessions.

Me encantó, love it, looks stylish and feels like a very good quality product made of leather, so far no problems with the size of my cards fitting on it. Only seems to be like top up once you put a lot inside it if not just regular size wallet even a little bit smaller than a regular one

Great wallet but its a snug fit

Listen to the other reviews! This wallet is ALMOST perfect. It came in 2 days without prime, looks amazing, is slim, and has everything you need in a wallet, except for space. Not that it doesnt have a bunch of card slots because it does, but you cant get the cards in them! It is real leather which is great but it also means its tight. My husband could only fit one card in each slot. He tried to put two cards in the side slots and now we cant get them out. The id slot is a tight fit and the plastic window is so small that once we actually got his license in it, it cuts off his birthday and other important details so he will have to take it out in order to show it, which takes about 2 minutes to remove it. Knowing how real leather works, I know it will stretch out but for the time being I feel bad for whoever is behind him in line. Other than that its a great wallet and he loves the look, feel, and the fact that it has the 2 cash pockets. If it wasnt for the tight fit, it would be 5 stars.
