Build the renewed 2023 edition of the beautiful 1:50 scale model ship Sanson, a classic deep tugboat from the last century. Aimed at modelers with an intermediate level of skills and knowledge, it is also a feasible model for beginners, since the instructions are on video so assembly is easier. The assembly instructions have been greatly improved -which we will talk about later-, so the building experience is much more enjoyable and less difficult. In addition, its construction system using a false keel and frames brings the assembly of your model closer to the construction of the real ship.
As three fantastic news, the elegant and faithful miniature replica of the Sanson tugboat in wood is suitable for use by radio control (R/C) in water. The boat's hull allows to be both, a static and R/C model because it has the hollowed frames and offers comfortable access to the interior. Add an engine to make it navigate! We have a Low RPM Motor (27591) so that the propeller moves only during the model's exhibition -it is not suitable for navigation-, for sale separately.

The second surprise is that, for the same reason, the model is prepared to be illuminated with our LED Lighting Set (27590) -for sale separately-, both the boat and the base itself. And that is the third one, this edition comes with a wooden exhibition base with a nameplate, unlike the old one.

In addition, for those who love challenges, the boat is also prepared to include a smoke generation system. It will give your model even more realism -the system is not included in the kit-. The modeler who wants can also attach a servomotor that rotates the rudder blade -not included-.

The Samson model ship kit contains all the necessary parts to build your model: 7 high-precision laser-cut plywood sheets, as well as birch strips and round dowels, and veneers in oak wood. By the way, it is the first kit that contains oak veneer, being Artesanía Latina a pioneer in including this hardwood in any model on the market. So then the model is much more realistic, exclusive and avoids the use of wood from tropical forests. It also comes with 1 photo-etched plate with numerous and magnificent details and accessories such as die-cast parts, brass rods, threads, wooden channels and much more.

Of course, it comes with a both-sides printed plan which, in addition to photos of the boat, includes a photographic parts list -another innovation from our firm-, as well as a QR code that leads to the Sanson video tutorial playlist on our Youtube channel with all the videos of the assembly instructions. Once it is built, Sanson model ship measures 23.81'' (605mm) length, 5.11'' (130mm) width and 13.47'' (350mm) height.
