Vermin (2005) is the sixth studio album by Norwegian melodic black metal architects Old Man's Child. Following the critically acclaimed In Defiance of Existence, Vermin is a showcase of "punishing catchiness" and refined, dark songwriting. It represents a more direct, yet symphonic, approach to the genre, with guest guitar work by Eric Peterson (Testament) on select tracks.
