If you're looking to paint with light as I demonstrate here, that's the flashlight you need!

*** NEW *** The new AX2 extension is great as usual for dimmers, but this new version has an inner thread to connect additional tools (blades, whips and fiber optic)

Why the Olight Warrior 3s over the Klarus XT2CR?
- doesn't stick to on after holding the button for two seconds

This is a modified (non-permanent) of the Warrior 3S which includes:
Good for:
  • Tube light-painting (yes, it fits in my tubes!)
  • Works well from the blue hour (bright enough to shoot when the background is cloudless and well exposed at f11, 2sec, iso100) to late night photography with the stars and the Milky Way (f1.8, 8sec, iso3200, one-tiny-hole dimmer)
  • Studio work
  • Avoiding flickering (smoooooth!)
  • Constant strobe
  • Equally spaced stripes (same as the Olight m1x striker, as explained here: https://youtu.be/n6Bfk5yZX7g )
  • Instant access to continuous and strobe (two buttons), as demonstrated here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DLdlnBWuPcz
  • Precise brightness output (using the provided dimmers)
  • Light-painting blades (coming soon!)
  • Light-painting squares
  • Light-painting whips
  • Light-painting fiber optic

Important:

  • Our extension may or may not void the manufacturer's warranty! Use at your own risks
  • Use a black sharpie to disable the proximity sensor (again, at your own risks - but this is exactly how I do on mine)
  • To activate the strobe mode, remove the magnetic switch, press the back button (hold it), then press on the side button. This is going to get you in "configuration 2" which is turbo+strobe. You'll find more details in the "tail switch" section of the manual here: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/909697.pdf

Work as well as the NGK's
Bought for a 2016 Mazda 6, I had NGK's in it for 5 months and had misfires, didnt have the money to throw more NGK's at it for troubleshooting. Bought these to try and they work great so far.

Faulty plug? Otherwise great set
Definitely better than the old plugs that probably had 80k miles on them. The one star off is because I had a misfire after installing. Not sure if I damaged the plug or what, but a reinstall didn't fix the misfire. In my genius, I rushed to try to gap it and ended up breaking the iridium tip. Put the old plug into cylinder 3 (where the misfire was) and it was fine. Gonna have to get a new single tomorrow at my local shop, but a bit frustrating to get a misfire after install.

Upgrade from OEM
After seeing a quite ludicrous $403 quote to change 4 spark plugs in a Mazda3 I decided to show my son how easy it is. These were an upgrade from OEM parts. They were gapped perfectly for the car. They took 20mins to fit and work fine.

garbage spark plugs
misfired after 30 minutes of driving cylinder 4 misfire code, left me stranded on the highway with baby in car. “(9621)” at the end of description is a lie, was not compatible with my vehicle even with compatibility test.
