This is Mr. PodsobinskiÕs second book. Like his first book about his first 40 years with schizophrenia, this book is also about his further encounters with his own mental health issues. What prompted the writing of this book is that Mr. Podsobinski inadvertently went into total Xanax withdrawal while trying to discontinue the Xanax he had been on for 15 years. He did not know this could be fatal.

What ensued in the process was hallucinations he instinctively recollected from his 1970s young adult use of real LSD and fresh Psilocybin mushrooms as he compares the Xanax withdrawal hallucinations with these psychedelics, but shows how they are not the same as far as hallucinations for clear reasons. Then he examines the Xanax hallucinations with the hallucinations of full-blown psychosis as in his first book. His examination once again finds these are not alike forms of hallucinations. In this sense, the book is an examination of hallucinations.

A more important serious aspect to this book is it shows why Xanax honestly earns its bad reputation. It is not an addictions thing as thought. LarryÕs digging and verifying with doctors finds it is only more recently known that Xanax causes brain damage, not addiction. It affects/damages a certain brain chemical described that then will never function the same unless Xanax is attached to this certain normal brain chemical. He describes the works and what it is like to know one is living with this in the one recurrent theme in the book.

Other recurring themes include again aspects including aging with residual schizophrenia and keeping it benign since late 1994.

In addition, brought to light is current state of art medical science that Psilocybin is being used to treat resistant depression and other ailments.

A thoughtful look into modern thinking on substances that once only were considered Òdrugs of abuseÓ and are now being found to have medical benefit.

Best Skin cleanser
Best ever. Deep cleans pore and I can see makeup melting off the face once you wash with this. Post results: Super clean soft skin, my face shines. Been using only for 2 weeks now, so cannot comment on Pore size reduction. Extra sensitive eczema skin approved.

Great product
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 6)
My favorite facial wipes. Gentle to your skin, no alcohol, no burning on the eyes! These wipes clean well make up and don't get dry in the package. Expensive though, hope the price won't go up to make us give up on them.

The only thing that works for me
Size: 50 count (Pack of 1)
I love these face wipes so much. I cannot use soap due to all the problems I have with my skin. It's so finicky.. I have rosacea with painful P&P and also flare ups of adult acne. I take a med to keep my oil production under control, but that means I end up with a few flakey patches on my cheeks. These are the ONLY face wipes that I've found that not only remove almost all (more on that in a moment) of the makeup I'm wearing, but also seem to help keep my redness under control. I've tried Aveeno Ultra-Calming wipes which profess to help with redness and even those are way too harsh for my skin. The Aveeno wipes make my face sting horrible, leave a greasy residue, and have a smell that is not very pleasant. The Simple wipes take off WAY more makeup than those, or any other wipe, I've tried and leave my skin feeling actually clean and calm. The only routine that I've found that keeps my skin looking decent is to use these to remove the majority of my makeup and then follow up with Simple Micellar Water on a cotton pad to remove any further traces. I follow that up with a few spritzes of (rosewater is supposed to help with redness too) and then moisturize with - which doesn't have SPF (which makes my rosacea flare up). It sounds like a lot of steps, but it takes me 3 minutes, tops. I'd just like to add too for those saying that these don't remove waterproof mascara - well, yeah. I would want neither a "gentle" face wipe that was harsh enough to remove waterproof mascara, nor a mascara that was wimpy enough to be removed with a gentle wipe... that would mean it would also come off every time my eyes watered or even just blinked. Just use an oil-free eye makeup remover before using these.
