The LZR Long Range Array Mounting Kit allows the mounting of two LZR 5.8GHz patch antennas for the ultimate long-range 5.8G flying. Using the custom cables and mounting kit, hook up your antennas to your rapidFIRE receiver and fly further and with more confidence than ever before on 5.8.

The twin-antenna array, when coupled with a rapidFIRE receiver, provides all of the rapidFIRE multi-pathing elimination benefits at extreme range.

A milled carbon-fiber plate is mounted under the Dominator fan-plate cover. Two tool-free thumbscrews attach the formed aluminum mount to the goggles.
Four M3 screws mount the twin LZR 13dBi antennas to the aluminum mount and hook up the two supplied semi-rigid high-frequency cables.

Does NOT includes LZR Antennas or goggles shown in some pictures.

Features

When using the array with two LZR antennas

  • 5.8GHz Band, Twin 13dBi gain
  • ~70 degree -3dB Horiz Beam Width, 35 Vert
  • F/B Ratio > 35dB, VSWR < 1:1.35 @ Center Freq.
  • Right Hand Circular Polarization
  • Carbon Fiber FatShark Dominator Goggle Mount
  • Thumb Screw Quick Release
  • Two included 8GHz RG402 cables
  • 10km+ (easy) on 5.8GHz

Don’t Cross The Beams!

No ghosts to catch here, overlapping beams ensure that a quad at long range is easy to track, without a complex antenna tracker. rapidFIRE’s twin RSSI display makes it trivial to locate a distant quad/plane. When the RSSI bars are equal, the antenna array is aligned exactly with the model. Much easier than trying to peak the RSSI measurement with a single antenna solution. The wide 70 degree horizontal beam-width ensures that even when the array is not perfectly aligned with the model, reception is guaranteed.

rapidFIRE Integration

The twin RSSI bars (especially the full-width version) may be used to aim the antenna.
An upcoming firmware update (v1.3.0) will augment this with unique audible feedback, allowing a long-range pilot to keep eyes on the target, and not the OSD.

Compatible with all 13dBi SpiroNETs

Back in 2013 when we released the first version of the 13dBi SpiroNET Patch antennas, we included mounting points for future bracket designs. These are the same on the latest version of the patch. If you own these older versions of the patch (LHCP, or RHCP versions), they are completely compatible with the new mounting brackets.

Includes

  • 2x High quality (8GHz) Coaxial cables
  • 1x Milled carbon fiber Dominator fan mount
  • 2x Thumb Screws
  • 4x Fan mount screws (extended)
  • 4x Antenna screws
  • 1x Stamped Aluminium antenna mount

It feels cheap and works just okay
This product just feels like it was made on the bottom dollar. It is very cheaply made and the doors to the battery compartment are so fragile it feels like they may snap next time I have to change the batteries. There's absolutely no weather proofing so I wouldn't leave it outside in the rain or heat. That being said, it's fine. It stays put on our umbrella and puts out light, albeit not much light.

Functional and easy to install!
Color: Cool White
This umbrella light is super handy! It hinges open to allow installation around the umbrella pole, so you don’t have to remove umbrella from table to add the light. I like that it can be charged with included USB cord or can use regular batteries. The different light settings are also nice depending on how much light you need or want at the time. We’ll be using this quite often when sitting at the table by the pool this summer.

Doggo approved!
Puppy said, "Yes, please." She's a large breed and chews through some toys like nothing. It is May now, and this one is still standing strong. It doesn't have any pieces coming off, so it's quite hard and safe, nothing is coming off for her to eat. It is really resistant to chewing from a Great Pyrenees, and for the price you can't beat it, as it will last months.

Dog tested, dog approved
This is a large, heavy-duty bone. And a great one. My Pitt-mix is very tough on things and can destroy most chew toys in short order. This actually has held up very well to his best attempts. As shown in the picture, after a lot of use over several weeks the most that he's been able to do is to put some small bite marks in it. I'm impressed. That's largely due to the material used. It's a dense, rubbery-type material that's resilient to biting/cutting/tearing. Very solid without being hard. Kind of along the same lines as that used for the popular Chuck-It toys if you're familiar with those (but heavier). I like this softer material better than the nylon bones which he loves but I'm afraid are going to crack a tooth at some point. Has some scent to it but does not have a strong smell. Can't vouch for the flavor but he seems to enjoy it. Again this is large and heavy toy. Probably a little too big/heavy for smaller dogs under say 40lbs or so. Some probably could do it but really better for the bigger dogs. Given how long this one looks like it's going to last, I'd say that it's a very good value. Bottom line - Dog likes it. I like it. Everybody's happy. Great bone. Buy it.

Flavor/Scent May Not Be Very Strong
My pup is picky about toys and the only ones that hold his interest are mostly the scented rubber toys from Playology, They’re great, but expensive, and I was really hoping this would be a cheaper alternative. It really looked like the kind of toy he likes. It’s heavy rubber with a softer texture than the hard toys out there, and it had a lot of surface grooves that lets him grip it with his teeth easily. I gave it to him and he was excited for all of 30 seconds, then he discarded it and hasn’t looked at it since. I suspect the flavor/scent may not be as strong but that’s just a guess. I don’t know if it’s a flaw in the toy or simply a picky pup, so I hesitate to rate this down for that. It does look like a really nice toy and if your dog isn’t a jerk like mine it may be great, and it’s definitely a good price.
