Instead, achievement can come out through hard work, commitment, and perseverance as an emerging theme for the United States. Developing reform politicians may seem like unlikely candidates, but sometimes even the most unlikely become some of our most outstanding leaders. Many reform politicians have lost and have won some crucial campaigns over the years. Still, those losses have shaped them into becoming politicians that have been leading the people toward positive change and success while steering away from the political machines of the past that have haunted much of American politics and its history.
