Medium garnet colour. On the nose, this Nebbiolo Langhe has pronounced aromas of mulberry, strawberries, wild rose flower and cranberries, with hints of charred wood, smoke and sweet pastry. There’s also a touch of bitter rosemary and pine needles. The wine is dry, with medium acidity, and it’s supercharged with mighty young tannins. In the mouth, it offers the taste of mulberries, strawberries and wild rose with a delightful long finish.

Conclusion? This is a beautiful wine for those of us who love tannins. It’s not expensive, and offers a good excuse to enjoy Nebbiolo without the full expense of Barolo or Barbaresco.
