Nearly 15 years in the making, BLACK MESSIAH contains 12 tracks of timeless music with poignant and provocative lyrics that requires repeat listening at maximum volume! On the album, D'Angelo is joined by his band, the Vanguard, alongside Pino Palladino, James Gadson and Questlove on various tracks on the album. All lyrics were written by D'Angelo in addition to Q-Tip and Kendra Foster who both wrote lyrics on several songs. With the high quality of live musicianship featured on the album, it's important to note that "No digital 'plug-ins' of any kind were used in this recording. All of the recording, processing, effects and mixing was done in the analog domain using tape and mostly vintage equipment." Includes the single "Really Love".

Insightful and True
Format: Paperback
Thank you Tim wise for being a person who understands soooo much about race and discrimination. It is great to see that being color blind is actually dangerous for people of color. As a person of color I hate it when whites assume that because they are nice to me that they aren't racist and yet in their thoughts and comments to their white counter parts they are as racist as hell. What annoys me is that whites operate the system which is designed to fail people of color and elevate those who designed it. But the tides are slowly turning and people are waking up and are finding their voice and courage. I wish them all the best in the world. Thanking you Tim.

Honest

I love the book. I think he is honest and courageous for exposing demonic oppression. I had no idea how throughly racist the system is. I have highlighted just about every page. I have even shared qoutes on face book. I really think he could help his people eliminate racism, opression and colorblindness. Thank you Tim!

Solutions to the eradication of subtle racism that still exists in the United States
Format: Kindle
In this book - Colorblind: The Rise of Post-Racial Politics - Tim Wise called out those who are in denial of racism in the era of Obama. He not only gave examples of existence, but also enunciated solutions to tackle it. In fact there are everything to be done both in private capacity as well as public policies. Anyone who is perturbed by the overwhelming racial disparity would find this book very illuminating.
