The middle panel is scratched giving this frame an ageless richness. This frame is over 4" wide and 1 1/2" in depth giving this frame a substantial appearance even at a larger 36" x 48" size. The rabbet depth is 1/2" deep but 3/4" to the back of he frame so it will easily accommodate a 3/4" stretcher bar canvas.
