Deluxe edition. Includes bonus reissue of the 1984 Wardance/Raygun Assassins 7 and T-shirt. Art Interface was a synthesizer band uninfluenced by the direction of mainstream European synthesizer styling. A band from the American Midwest (except for the Swedish drummer), it was initiated in 1979 by Douglas Vasey, Steven Curran, and Claes Roswall, with Roger Deason joining later. They disdained Kraftwerk but loved NEU! And bands like The Stooges. Propelled by live drums instead of marching lockstep to the beat of a drum machine, they twisted knobs on impulse with no idea of what would happen. They recorded many songs in the studio with all members playing at once but recording on separate tracks, which gives them a looseness and a life contrary to the more robotic feel of the time. Some songs had a sociopolitical bent and thus a purpose; others were merely wild, unexpected accidents of immediate creation, ranging from melodic to ambient to noise to all of the above. Unlike many synthesizer bands, guitar often figured into the mix - sometimes in the background, and sometimes as a striking accent over the synthesizers, but never as a traditional lead. Their first synthesizer-based tape, Secretaries from Heaven, released on their own If Records in early 1982, was meant as a kind of parody. The combination of simple, self-playing sounds and Vasey's great lyrics was stronger than anyone expected. Two 7 (Secretaries from Heaven and Wardance) followed 1983 and '84, respectively. In 1986 they released their full-length debut, Great Big World of Noise and Shit, and another demo tape called It's Not the Way It Should Have Been But That's the Way It Is. This double LP collection, also available as part of the expansive 80's Minimal. Synthesizer. Wave: Volume III box set (VOD 138LP), combines tracks from all of the releases described above.

Sturdy and classy

I purchased these individual mesh dividers to replace solid plastic dividers for three reasons - cleaning ability, function , and. appearance. I am extremely happy with this choice on all accounts. I am very happy with the mesh as crumbs etc fall through the dividers which eliminates trying to clean all 4 tiny corners of each divider Simply remove the dividers, vacuum the crumbs, wipe the drawer with cleaner, and return the dividers. Because these are individual dividers, they can be configured to your specific need or choice. Both of these reasons are as expected. In addition, they are sturdy and do not bend or warp. But what surprised me the most is the difference using the black color makes! The appearance when the drawer is opened looks classy and high quality. So, so glad I didn’t get the solid wood dividers as again I’d be cleaning tiny corners with a Q-tip. I would buy these again.

Helps to be organized!

It helped me to get so organized! Wonderful product! I have always been a very organized person to the point of having OCD. These organizers have been a godsend. They are pretty long probably 12 in and probably 2 in wide. I fit pens, my stapler, rulers, etc in them. They fit perfectly into my top desk drawer. Such a difference instead of throwing your items haphazardly in your drawer. Very sturdy but thin. Made of metal so durable. Very easy to clean with a wipe if necessary. Not that expensive at all. Comes with 2 holders. Such a helpful product. Highly recommend!
