Their output suggests current shifts in the attitudes of, and toward, male artists and the way these artists now make and contextualise their work. The show is a response to these issues and from FordÕs point of view how he, as an artist now living in New Zealand, situates his own practice within these considerations.
Presenting a combination of fresh faces and well known names, all pushing their ideas in new and exciting ways, the tour includes Elliot Collins, Bill Culbert, Paul Cullen, Simon Esling, James R Ford, Arie Hellendoorn, Sean Kerr, Peter Madden, Richard Maloy, Linden Simmons and Wayne Youle. This catalogue features full colour reproductions of a selection of works, with an accompanying text by Mark Amery.
