Product Description - EDB36015 - Square D Bolt-On Circuit Breaker

Schneider Electric / Square D's EDB36015 bolt-on molded case circuit breaker is a reliable and easy-to-install device designed for use in Square D NF Panelboards. This circuit breaker is CSA-rated, HID-rated and HACR-rated, and UL Listed as High-Intensity Discharge.

The EDB36015 is a 3-pole bolt-on circuit breaker, rated at 15A at a system voltage of 600Y/347 V AC. The circuit breaker has a thermal-magnetic trip unit and a signal indicator to indicate when a trip occurred. The device has a hold current of 270A (the maximum current the breaker can be held at to ensure a trip will occur) and a trip current of 875A (the current value when the breaker is guaranteed to trip).

Square D's EDB36015 circuit breaker is calibrated for 40 degrees C and has aluminum lugs with a terminal lug rating of AWG 12...AWG 6 (aluminum) and AWG 14...AWG 6 (copper).

Just linear

I appreciate that it helps to organize the chaos of information, but I just used the template verbatim with my manager and it did not go very well. He said this linear approach does not work anymore with high-level corporate audiences. They want to cut right to the chase and start to dig into the deep details. This layout with simple images, even if you just pull away the map and anchor slides, makes the storytelling too much like a story, not giving enough credit to the speed at which certain audiences can and do process data on a slide. It was an interesting exercise and I still think this linear layout works in some cases. Just not if you are trying to communicate business case or other C-suite type of information.

This book is an excellent introduction to the basic principles of insurance. We used this text as a supplement in our Intro to Act. Sci. class. It is very readable, easy to understand. Minimal mathematics required, some basic calculus concepts used, but only briefly. Don't let it's small size fool ya, it has plenty of information in there.
