Unlike the streamlined digital Pro Treks of the past, this model features a raw, industrial look defined by its octagonal stainless steel bezel, which is tapered and polished to resemble the sharp edge of a sturdy wood axe. The dial itself has a textured finish that mimics the cast iron surface of a Dutch oven, while the indicator hand at 10 o'clock is shaped like a camping knife. Despite its tough exterior, the watch is surprisingly eco-conscious. The case, case back, and soft urethane band are crafted from biomass plastics derived from renewable organic resources like castor oil plants and corn, helping to reduce its environmental footprint. It remains a serious tool for adventurers, equipped with Casio's legendary Triple Sensor (Version 3) technology to measure compass bearing, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature.
